Anyone remember the Saturday morning cartoon comedy The Perils of Penelope Pitstop? The CBS Series was a spinoff from the Wacky Races and spoofed movie melodramas of the 20s and 30s. The show featured Penelope and her protectors The Ant Hill Mob who battled the evil Hooded Claw aka Sylvester Sneekly.

The show also featured the outstanding, overbaked narration of Gary Owens and if you watch the closing credits on Boomerang, you'll notice that Paul Lynde, who was the voice of The Hooded Claw, did not receive screen credit. Also, Mel Blanc was the voice of The Ant Hill Mob's car, Chugaboom.

Yeah, Paule Lynde was the best. He really didn't get as much credit as he should have for all the animated shows he provided voices for.
