Cool Funniest Helen moments

There are so many, but a few of my favorites are...

Joe's flight class. "Lowell spent the whole class yesterday watching an ant push a grain of salt across his desk, and do you know what? I ENVIED HIM!!!"

Getting jealous of Gail and later slapping Joe with meat. "I'm his ex and you're his... why!"

Getting mad at Antonio when he was playing the same song over and over again on his guitar. "Michael keeps rowing that damn boat ashore, but does he ever make it? NOOOO!!!!!"

Her accusing Frasier Crane of ruining her life. "You ruined my life, Dr. Crane!!!"

There are lots more, but I'll let you guys list some.

Can someone please explain to me why this funny, talented actress never got so much as an Emmy nomination? I think Crystal is a far better actress than Jennifer Aniston, Patricia Heaton, and some other actresses who usually get Emmy nominations.

RAARR! This board always likes to erase my posts almost every time i try to post stuffff!

anyway, I agree with you, Snoopy- there are a ton of hilarious Helen moments.

Some of my favorites are the times when she leaps over the lunch counter at people. lol. like in "Ladies Who Lunch" when she finally got so mad at Gail that she took a flying leap at her over the counter, and Joe caught her in mid-air. lol.
and then in the episode that was on last night at the end when she got ticked off at the guy from the symphony or whatever, and she grabbed the guy by he shirt and shoved him down on the chairs and was yelling at him, It was so funny because she overpowered this guy who was twice her size. lol and then Joe picked her up and carried her away from him while she was still kicking and yelling at him. lol It's so funny when she does stuff like that.

and another one that I can think of right now is when Helen gets drunk, she's hilarious. Like in that season 8 episode "Olive Or Twist" when Helen and Joe got drunk when they were trying to name the Martinis, and Helen went on and on about riding on an elephant- "You know how I like to travel?! On an elephant! In one of those big-ass elephant saddles, you know, that all the elephants wear. and as I pass by, all the villagers say, 'There goes Princess Helen on her elephellenn.' "

I agree- Crystal is such a funny and talented actress, i don't understand why she never got an emmy nomination!

Yup... there are definitely a ton of funny Helen moments.

The whole wisdom teeth episode... the concussion one and the green hair, black-eye and blotches episode... the grease gun and fire extinguisher fight, fighting with Carol, driving her jeep through Joe's office... the many times during the show's run that Helen kinda lost it and went a little looney (Crystal would do an awesome job playing a psycho in a thriller or something)... just to name a few.

I agree that Crystal definitely should've been nominated and won emmy's for Helen.

So many moments....so little time. I could go on and on, but I'll mention a few that haven't been listed yet.

-When Joe wants to speak to Helen privately, and Helen thinks Joe is going to tell her he wants to dump her on valentines day:

"Whatever it is Joe, I'll change."

-When she is at group therapy:

"I'd like to rip off your head and spit down your neck."

-When she thinks she's lost Joe to Gail.

"It wasn't that I was losing my boyfriend, it was that I was losing my best friend."

-In the Joe Blows episode when she leaps off the counter to greet Joe.

"I thought you were never coming back....I'm never speaking to you again."

-When Joe is dating the 19 year old and she can't watch them kiss and she turns to Brian.

"Just tell me when it's over."

Or later in that same episode.

"Joe what's different about you? Oh, I know, you don't have Courtney attached to your lip."

-The elevator scene.

"All right, all right, I love you, I've always loved you."

She delivered that line so perfectly. Just watching all these episodes again over the last few months just makes it all the more amazing she never was even nominated for an emmy. She was also great at physical comedy. It was a scham!!

Those are all great moments too. Also, when she and Antonio had to go to Mexico to get a quickie divorce.

I don't even pay attention to the Emmys anymore. It's all a popularity contest.

My 12-year old daughter (yes, she just turned 12) loves to play the piano and clarinet, and she takes her music very seriously....which is why she LOVES any "Wings" episodes that have to do with Helen and her cello playing. My daughter is also tiny, blonde, cute and somewhat feisty, and I think that she can really relate to Helen, who she says is her favorite "Wings" character. (Plus, my daughter does one DEAD-ON "Helen" impression, complete with southern accent and hand gestures!).
