Chrissy’s Comeback

Scene 1Chrissy walks in the house with a pouted look on her face. Maggie and Jason are sitting on the coach watching tv.

Jason. Hi Chrissy! How was school today?

Chrissy. It was awful Daddy!

Jason. Why, sweetie? What happened?

Chrissy. ~walks over to the coach~ Well, let me tell you all about it. You see this kid in my class, Kyle Andrews is very mean to me. Today during lunch Kyle stole my peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and then during art Kyle took my picture and scribbled all over it.

Maggie. That’s awful. Jason we need to contact Chrissy’s teacher immediately.

Chrissy. Yeah! And that isn’t the first time either; this has been going on for like a million years now.

Jason. Now, Maggie, before we have any parent teacher conferences let’s see if our daughter can figure out how to solve this herself.

Maggie. But Jason…

Jason. Come on. We’ll give it a week. Chrissy, are you up to that?

Chrissy. I guess.

Carol walks in the room

Carol. Hey, what’s going on?

Chrissy. Just telling Mom and Dad about the bully at school.

Carol. You are being bullied? That’s awful. We must stop the madness.

Chrissy. No good, Daddy won’t let me.

Jason. No, I said we will help you if you can’t solve this yourself in a week.

Carol. Dad, she is only five.

Jason. I have my ways.

Scene 2: Chrissy enters the kitchen were the other three siblings are.

Chrissy. ~Sighs~ Hi Mike, Ben, and Carol.

Ben. Hey Chrissy. What’s with the sigh?

Chrissy. Well, ~looks around the room~ It’s just there is a bully at school. I tried talking to Kyle today and said that we needed to make a truce, but that was no good. Kyle just pinched me and laughed in my face. I would ask Mom and dad for help, but the last time I did it didn’t work out to great, did it? Plus, I don’t want Daddy to know he failed.

Carol. Hmm. Don‘t worry Chrissy. I am here for you. We will get that sucker back..

Mike. Chrissy,if you want to stay alive you won’t listen to Carol’s plan. Trust me her idea’s never work. I have no clue what goes on in her rbain.

Carol. Oh yeah! Well at least I have something going on up there.

Chrissy. Stop the madness! I want all of your all’s help. You guys are always fighting about who’s ideas are better and stuff. I am sick of it. Now, each one of you is going to come up with a plan, we will try it and see if it work’s, whosever plan works has the best ideas. Then we won’t have to fight about it nomore.

Carol. That’s anymore.

Chrissy. Carol!

Carol. Sorry.

Ben. Well who get’s to go first?

Chrissy. Let’s draw straws. And remember this, no one can tell mom and dad.

Ben. Well, duh.
