This fan-fic is sad and deals with a very serious subject. Hope you like it.

"Blair, have you seen, Mrs. G?" Jo asked, walking into Edna's Edibles.
"I haven't seen her." Blair replied. "Why can't you drive to the sale yourself?"
"Because it's a tire sale, Blair. My bike has a flat tire. How can I drive it? Push it from here to Queens?"
Mrs. Garrett walked into the store mad.
"Oh, Mrs. G, I need a favor."
"Not now, Jo." Mrs. Garrett walked out of the room. Blair and Jo looked at each other, then followed.

"Mrs. Garrett." Blair opened the door and stuck her head into the room. "What's the matter?"
"Nothing. My life is over, that's all."
Jo and Blair walked into the room and sat on Mrs. G's bed.
"Please tell us. Maybe Jo and I could help."
"I doubt it, but I'll tell you anyway." Mrs. G took a deep breath. "I went to see the doctor and he said.... he said... he said I don't have long to live. I've got breast cancer."
Blair and Jo looked at each other, lost for words.

Sorry so short, but that's all I could come up with. Please reply and tell me if you like it or not. I'll continue it.

"chico" means "boy" in spanish...but, i just like calling guys that...like, I call some girls "chick" or "chika"...dunno...just habit..

"And that's when Mrs. G tols us she had breast cancer." Jo sat on the sofa, telling Natalie and Tootie about Mrs. Garrett. Tootie gave a small sniffle and a tear streamed down her face.
"Hey." Blair said, dully as she walked through the door, holding Bloomindale's shopping bags. "I was felling depressed, so I went shopping.. but it didn't help."
Mrs. Garrett, then walked into the room.
"Hey, girls." She said, sounding cheerful. "I'm going out for a little bit." she grabbed her coat from the closet, and walked out the door.

Mrs. Garrett walked into the house, holding a brown paper bag. She walked to her room.

Walking over to the bed, Mrs. G sat down and pulled out the thing in the bag:a gun! She put it slowly to her mouth.
Blair walked into the room and saw her. "Mrs. Garrett! No!" She ran across the room, and yanked the gun out of Mrs. G's hands.
"Blair, what are you doing?"
"What are you doing with this thing in your mouth?"
"Well, I'm going to die anyways, so why not just kill myself?"
Blair couldn't believe her ears. "What? You taught us to love life. to.. to live it to the fullest and now your doing this?"
"Blair, this is none of your concern. So, go back to bed."
"Not my concern? I'm sorry, Mrs. Garett, but when I lose somebody I love, it IS my concern."
"You're going to lose me anyway." Mrs. G looked into Blair's pretty face. "Oh, Blair. "I'm so scared. I don't wanna die."
Blair dropped the gun to the floor and hugged Mrs. G.

I thought I'd be nice and not make this a cliff-hanger. Anyways, please tell me what you thought of this post.
