Default "The Puppetmaster" episode

Ok, the other day I said that the first time I saw this episode, I thought it was lame.
But I saw it again when it was on last night, and I really liked the whole episode. It was very funny. I think I might say that it would be somewhere in my top 10 favorites!
It so weird how sometimes when I'm first starting to watch a show, the first episodes I see, I don't really like them that much.. and then when I see those episodes again once I'm into the show, I really like those episodes.

But even the first time I saw this one, I loved that last scene- with Joe and Helen.- when Helen thanks Joe for helping her get back at Brian, and then she says that the kiss caught her by surprise though, and Joe says "we talked about the kiss." and she says, "no we didn't." and then Joe apologised and said, "it was a good kiss though." and then they went through the whole thing with Helen saying the kiss was just "fine" and Joe getting a little offended. hehehe.
and then the other kiss... aww I love that kiss. hehe.
and then after the kiss when Joe goes to leave, but trips over the chairs, falls on top of them, and rolls off onto the floor. and then he gets up really quick and nervously laughs and says, "chairs." and then leaves as fast as he can. lol. That's so funny. And then you don't think Helen was that affected by the kiss until she has to dump a glass of ice water down her shirt. lol!

good episode.

So true! And I think you'll even appreciate more episodes of the 7th and 8th season for the very same reason. Sometimes it takes a few viewings of the show to gain a real appreciation of the characters and everything else.

The Puppetmaster was great....the ending is just one of those magical TV moments where the writing and acting was pefect. And the fact that NBC still gives this show no respect and hardly acknowledged it on the 75th anniversary still makes me angry.

On a side note, a few weeks ago I saw most of a movie on Cable called "Sour Grapes" that had Steven Weber and the other main lead in the show that played his buddy was the guy that played "Matt" in the Puppetmaster. It's funny how years later certain actors work together again.

The Puppetmaster is one of my fav. Wings episodes. I love the Joe and Helen kiss. I was when Joe fell over the chairs, and Helen pouring that glass of water down her shirt

I love that they got Brian back really good in this episode.

I loveThe Puppetmaster too. Brian was at his best, and the kiss between Joe and Helen was great.

I agree with Losthighway. Why Wings never got any respect is a mystery to me. I think it's a great example of a good, classic comedy.
