Question What's your favorite Genre of TV shows?

I was wondering what everybody's favorite genre of TV Show is.For me it's....

1.Sitcoms (I mean,This is a sitcom site but I tend to go for the more serious type comedies.Shows where there's reucurring plots and cliffhangers at the end of the season.)
2.Reality Shows (A very close 2nd.I love reality shows)
3.Talk Shows (Not the Jerry Springer type trash but the late night stuff)
4.Game Shows (But not usually pure trivia shows.I love trivia but Millionaire and The Weakest Link get old after a while)
5.Dramas (I like very few.The OC and Once & Again are really the only ones I like along with 7th Heaven every once and a while.)
6.Cartoons (I used to love Cartoons but the quality of Today's toons are so low.)

Definitely sitcoms. I also like variety shows. But I only like a few select game shows/dramas/talk shows.

Dramas, like "Law and Order," "CSI," "Highlander," Boomtown," "Star Trek," "Kung-Fu," etc. In comedies, I mostly prefer the old ones from the 50s, 60s, and 70s.

I love drama shows more, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Dark Shadows, Melrose Place, Lois & Clark, Charmed (seasons 1-3) and some others. Then sitcoms.

1) Sitcoms (Just about all sitcoms from 1950-1990, with a couple from 1990-present)
2) Crime Dramas (All crime dramas from 1950-1990. None from 1990-present)
3) Soap Operas (Any soaps that are currently cancelled, even though I never saw much of them. Three of the current ones)
5) Regular Dramas (Not including primetime soaps.)
4) Game Shows (Most game shows from 1950-1995, very few from 1995-present)

Sitcoms are the top. Dramas are mostly so oversimplified as to be worthless like nearly every cop or lawyer show. Being a lawyer i can say that combining a case including a trial in one hour with other story lines usually makes for a show that has little accuracy. Id rather see Fred Sanford yell at Lamont for a half hour.

I prefer sitcoms and dramedies. I'm not a huge drama person. I can't stand talk shows and reality shows.
