I need help transfering a file to make my new avatar work! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I would like to change my avatar (sp?) but there is a problem. The problem is , i cant seem to find a GIP or Jpg file of the picture I want. I want a picture of a 1972 Chevelle Super Sport but I cant find one. Is there anyway to make the picture into one of those files so I can have this as my avatar? I dont know how to change or transfer the files. I have the file I want on my uploaded on my computer.

Save the picture as .bmp or whatever it'll let you, then open up Paint or some other photo editing program. Then click Save As, and then at the bottom there should be a little drop down menu with different choices of file types...save it as .jpg or .gif and then upload it as your avatar.
