Lightbulb Cheers, behind the scenes, or something like that

I've been thinking and one of the televisions stations, like NBC should do a behind the scenes movie of Cheers. I mean come on they did one of Three's Company (which was the stupidest thing I have ever seen) why couldn't they do one for Cheers? They certainly have enough material, I mean if half of the things everyone says went on off stage are true they would have more than enough things to put in it. They could do the Shelley/Ted thing and the Shelley/Grammer thing, and about how both Kirstie Alley and Kelsey Grammer were both really into drugs at one point. They could feature interviews with the original cast and everything. Then after they could do a reunion movie!!! I'm sure it would get huge ratings, everyone would be watching. The only downfall would be watching other actors try to play the characters that we love so much. Of course it would be better than nothing! What do you guys think? Also, what should the title of the movie be?

well if they do that then they might not do a reunion because they could hurt certain peoples feelings you know? and also what if the actors suck? I'd rather this happened: The movie...a 3 hour long recap on the characters, the chat....all of the actors sit and chat about Cheers......then a behind the scenes look with like bloopers and outakes!! that's perfect lol it could be called "cheers week"

Yes that would be perfect, except they should have a "Cheers Year" instead of just a week.

Oh on ebay I just won a collection of photos that a guy that worked on the set took. He took them during camera breaks and dress rehearsles during one of the episodes. Should be cool when they get here.

lol that would be awesome, and if they had a movie, i agree that they should use the same actors as the ones on the show itself, not new ones

KRAMER: Woah, woah, woah. What-what did you just say?
JERRY: I can't take it anymore! She's driving me crazy! I can't sleep, I can't leave the house, and I' here, I'm climbin' the walls. Meanwhile, I'm dating a virgin, I'm in this contest - something's gotta give!

I liked the Three's Company thing. I agree w/you DianeChambers87-they need to use the REAL people! There's only a couple problems:
1: THE CAST IS OLD!
2: Not sure all the cast would participate (I know Kirstie & Shelley probably wouldn't return-John, George, Ted & Rhea would-I hope)

Tiff7

P.S. I got my Cheers DVD! I've only watched the bonus stuff, but all the 1st season eps r better because I prefer Shelley Long, Woody Harrelson & Nicholas Colasanto to Kirstie Alley-mostly 'cause Bex whines 2 much.

No i do think that Shelley would come back for a reunion b/c on the View when Shelley was on she said that she was talking to one of the producers of Cheers's wife about a reunion and she really wanted to. I think she would, I mean she's has to be kind of desperate fore work, at least she should be! The only one i think really wouldn't do it is Kirstie.

Ted on Conan......"In the year 2000". hahah, it wasn't that long ago either. Ted was so cool. He sat on stage and played tamburine while beck played.

They did it like a few weeks ago with Roseanne, but it wasnt that funny.
