I'll try and post all the news I find in a new thread each week, or in the same thread, depending on how many replies... anyway

CASTING NEWS:
Judi Evans (Bonnie) begins taping tomorrow or Monday, and will first air on Monday, September 1st.

Jillian Clare debuts as the new Abigail on August....

According to today's editors chat at www.soapoperadigest.com there are no plans, right now at least (imo) to bring back Vivian. No returning characters were mentioned.

NOTE: IMO, I don't think returning characters will show up until at least September/October.

Also, despite NOT being credited as HW in tomorrow's show, Reilly IS responsible, but doesn't have complete storyline control yet. Most likely late in the month his stuff will really start to begin airing, although he WILL be HW all of August.

Stephanie Sloane (editor of DIGEST) has spoken to Alison Sweeny, Drake Hogestyn and Deidre Hall and all three are very excited by what Reilly is writing.

Also, from what spoilers indicate, Alice will be seen more often (FINALLY!! JER always did use Alice a lot). Also, Celeste will be seen more often too.

Matthew Ashford's firing has pretty much been confirmed, it's in both magazines, that hit stands tomorrow (most areas), and will be available next week.

I'll probably add some more info when i compile it all. Most of this is from memory, lol.

How would you all feel about a spoiler thread, just concentrating on spoilers? Although this is a FULL soap board... thoughts DAYS fans?

And, from what it appears, Victor will still be around, so John Aniston isn't leaving for the time being. In my opinion, it's not looking good though.

And I think it speaks VOLUMES that Roman, Mimi, Abe, Tony and Victor are NOT at the fashion show tomorrow. Just a hunch... NOTHING of course is definite for ANY of them, just something to think about...

Thank you for posting this. I think making a spoiler thread would be cool, I have no objections to it. I think this Killer storyline will in fact be good, I'm all for it, of course if tomorrow I find out that Dee or Drake have been fired, then I'll change my views of course.lol

I think a Days spoiler thread would be good. These days even though I record the show every day and keep the tapes I very rarely watch the show. I keep up with it though on Dustin's website by reading spoilers, early edition, and important dates. And I listen to Days of Our Lives on my tv listener at work. So, the spoilers have been handy with me in keeping up with the show.

I was surprised when I saw that Roman wouldn't be at the fashion show. Wasn't he supposed to be one of the models? Even if he wasn't, it's his girlfriend's big day. He should have been there to support her. It's a bit odd.

Rumor has it that Kyle Lowder got his walking papers. BUT that's just a rumor and may be false, just like the rumor about Victor, so take it with a grain of salt.

NOOOOOO!!! This better be a rumor, I don't want Brady to leave. These idiot writers' keep giving my favorite characters the axe, first Nadia (Chloe) and now possibly Kyle (Brady), this is not even right.

I don't think it's true. Some people at the Soap News & Scoops board don't seem too worried about it. I guess the rumor was posted at the DAYS board at about.com, and the poster had just recently registered and only posted once.

I think this serial killer storyline is going to give DAYS the publicity it really needs, and I think there are going to be a lot of false alarms as to who's out and such. I just can't see them dumping Brady.

Yeah, it's going to give Days alot of publicity, but it's also going to piss
(pardon my language) off alot of fans,
due to the cut back on so many characters, which the fans love. That's the only negative side of this storyline.
