I saw part of this drama on Cable TV a few years ago (while channel-surfing), and it was quite different....
I don't know the name of the film, but Tim Daly played a REAL scuzzy-looking, low-life drug dealer (beard, long, slick-backed hair, black leather jacket, etc.). The drug dealer murders a guy who has a huge stash of money hidden away, and now that the guy's dead, the drug dealer doesn't know where the money is hidden. To find out where it's hidden, the dealer looks up the murdered guy's wife and decides to "seduce" the money's wherabouts out of her. Tim gets all cleaned up (shave, haircut, etc.) and ends up looking like Joe Hackett! He arranges a "chance" meeting with the young widow and starts to romance her, hoping that he can eventually find out where the money is hidden...and she has NO idea that he's actually the man who murdered her husband! I never got to see the ending of this film (I had to go someplace), but what I saw was very interesting and suspenseful. Is ANYONE here familiar with this film? Including the title? |

Tim's filmography with summaries of the movies he's been in is at this site: http://us.imdb.com/Name?Daly,+Timothy
but I was looking through them all, and none of them sounded like the one you described. so i don't know..

Krista, here is another good website if you are trying to look up films that an actor has done. http://www.allmovie.com
Pilotguy that plot sounds familiar but I couldn't remember. Then I used the above mentioned website to look it up and it must have been "Dangerous Heart". I did catch about half of a film playing on cable recently called Execution of Justice, where Tim played Dan White, the guy that murdered the Mayor of San Francisco and Harvey Milk back in the late 70's. I didn't see alot of it, but as usual, what I did see I felt Tim did a fine job. |

Oh my God, I forgot about that movie!! The more Pilotguy described the movie, the more I'm thinking I know this movie and have seen it. Thanx guys, for the title!
