I am a HUGE Ramones fan. This is one of my fav movies ever. There is no way it could be remade. For one, Joey and Dee Dee are dead(RIP). They will never capture that 70's attitude or atmosphere now even if they tried. And who would play Riff Randle?! Oh please god no.

Porky's is a stupid remake- the public still seem to like that film anyway- in the UK it's on tv (or it's sequels) about once a month on Paramount- and it's a film people still watch unlike other films where they see what year it was made and refuse to watch. They may as well go remake other old favourites, like films shown every Christmas or holiday- let's remake Beverly Hills Cop, or go one step further and remake Mrs.Doubtfire!

Can't people just come up with new ideas. It probably all boils down to the fact that in hollywood 'you need experience' to get work- so the only people working are usually the same old hacks from years before- who want to redo some of their personal favourites.

Has anyone seen the pictures from the Garfield movie?

Also I heard they're making 'Footloose:The Musical' into a movie. At least it's not entirely unoriginal, but most of the songs are those from the original,only sang by the characters. Well- if they recast John Lithgow I might see it.
