Default Mr. C's wedding speech

Hi All - Great website. We're fans of Happy Days and are looking for the episode (script) where Mr. C gives a toast or speech to Joanie on her wedding day. We think it's episode 254-255 called "Passage". My daughter is getting married and my husband remembers the episode but can't remember the exact words of the speech, he says the words were perfect for what he wants to include in his toast. We've searched the internet to no avail.

Does anyone know the script or where we can find the episode?

Thanks so much!!!

I really dont know where to find the script, but the episode should air on TV Land in a couple of months. If you want to, I can check my tape and post the speech right here.

Default wedding speech

I would greatly appreciate it if you could look back at your tapes and post the speech. Thanks so much for your quick response and your kind offer.

I would wait for TV land but the wedding is in 6 weeks.

Again, thank you.

Here's the speech :

"Well, what can I say? Both of our children are married now and
they're starting out to build lives of their own. And I guess when you reach a milestone like this you have to reflect back on what you've done, on what you've accomplished. Marion and I have not climbed Mount Everest, written a great American novel, but we had the joy of raising two wonderful kids, watching them and their friends grow up into loving adults. And now, we're gonna have the pleasure to watch them pass that love on to their children. And I guess, no man or woman could ask for anything more.

So thank you all for being part of our family...to Happy Days"

... no man or woman could ask for anything more."

(Howard got choked up on the word more but it is there.)

Just thought I'd throw that in.

I like it when Chachi quotes an old song: "Take my hand, take my whole heart too because I can't help falling in love with you"

that would be Elvis Presleys "Can't Help Falling in Love"

"take my hand, take my whole life too for I can't help falling in love with you"
