Default Tim Daly in "Storm Of The Century"?

ok, supposedly Tim was in the Stephen King miniseries "Storm Of The Century", which I just found out yesterday... and I also just found out that it's going to be on ABC starting Sunday night at 9 PM.
Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up in case you want to watch it.
I'm definately gonna watch it. I didn't watch it the first time it was on, but back then I didn't know that Tim was in it... actually, the first time that miniseries aired, I didn't know who Tim Daly was. haha!

I'll be curious to hear what you think....I did see that. It's funny how being "Wings" fans draws us in because I remember the main reason I checked it out was because I was curious to see Tim's performance.

Speaking of Tim, I thought he gave a great performance as David Koresh in the TV movie "Ambush in Waco" but I don't know if that will ever be on TV again.

I almost forgot to watch part 1 of 'Storm Of The Century' last night. But my Grandma actually reminded me it was on, just because she likes to mention random movies that are going to be on TV. lol. So I watched it, and it's really good so far, and Tim is great in it. he's even got that Maine accent going on. lol!

for some reason, I thought this movie was just made last year, but I looked it up and it says 1999.... hmm...

I missed this the first time around so thanks for the heads up. It's too bad that part 3 won't screen until Sunday.

I didn't watch it. Stephen King terrifies me. I do like The Green Mile though.

hahaha! I know- that's driving me nuts. I was watching it last night, and they were all like, "what does he want?" and I'm sitting there yelling at the TV, "why don't you ask him??!!" hehe. but then they did later, and that didn't do any good anyway. lol

it's a really good movie so far...

I don't want to have to wait until next sunday to see the conclusion!!

Possible spoiler or maybe just a dumb guess...

I think he wants the kids. There have been far too many shots of children playing and sleeping in part 2 to ignore. Plus the little tea pot song and the closet deal.

The conclusion of Storm Of The Century was on last night

and you know what? Besides the fact that I very much enjoyed Tim's performance in the movie, and besides the fact that I wanted to know how it ended, I couldn't wait until it was over. lol.
That happened before with one of Stephen King's other miniseries'- "Rose Red" (well, it's the only other one I've seen) but they both seemed to be too long. It's like, by the 5th hour of it, even though it's not all on at once, I'm like, "aarrg! When is this thing going to be over?!" lol.

But yeah- Tim was wicked awesome in it. ...I got kinda bored with the movie, but I sure didn't get bored with him!

ARRRRGGGGGH. I missed it!

After all I went through last week, and then I miss the conclusion. I was so preoccupied last night with getting my kids together for school today.

OK, Krista - what in the heck did the creepy man want?

Love,

Wing<><

oh wingshock- that sucks that you missed it!
You had a bad week last week? that sucks. so did I. poo.

ok well, I'll try to explain the end of the movie the best I can.... the creepy man (lol) said that he was getting old, even though he's lived for thousands of years, and will live longer than anyone else in that room, but in his lifespan, he had a short anount of time left, and he said that he wanted them to freely give up one of the children for him to bring up as his own, and pass everything on to before he dies...
That was basically what he wanted.

It was a good movie, just a little too long, I thought.
