SOAPnet will be broadcasting a special called 'They Started on Soaps' on August 20th at 11:00PM. Below is more information:
_______________________________ Very few people are born super stars. They start off as coat checkers (Mariah Carey), sandwich store mascots (Brad Pitt), even taxi cab drivers (Robert DeNiro). Some famous movie and primetime stars got their start in daytime television, and many of them are justly proud of their time on the soaps. On August 20, at 11pm (ET/PT), SOAPnet airs "They Started on Soaps." This special program will showcase the soap beginnings of some of Hollywood's major players. The special will also feature insight from casting directors about their experiences in hiring some of these stars. I love Susan's acting in Ebbie. She was terrific. She did other movies than that I know, but Ebbie is my favorite with her in it. Sarah really bloomed out of the soap opera business. She has been in a lot of big screen movies and tv shows. |
