Default Crystal On "According To Jim"

I saw Crystal on that sitcom tonight, and it was like seeing an old friend....but what's with the brown hair?

I know that Crystal's natural hair color is brown (as seen on "Happy Days"), but how long has she had the NEW brown hair? It really makes her look different!

I think she changes her hair color quite a bit... different highlight colors or shades of blonde and brown. I think it looks cool whatever color it is.

Oh YEAH, don't get me wrong....I think that Crystal looked GREAT on "According To Jim"...it's just that the brown hair took me by surprise...I was expecting the "Helen" look.

Crystal has had many different "looks" through the years, and they're ALL attractive in their own way!

yeah, I watched the show too, and was surprised by the brown hair too, because we're so used to seeing her as a blonde on Wings every night! hehe.
she looked cool with the brown hair tho.

I just saw that "According to Jim" too, and came on the message board to see if anyone had posted about it! Unfortunately, I only caught the later part of the show, so I only saw a tiny bit of Crystal's part.

I saw it and I was very impressed!

(OK I admit, Crystal could do anything and I'd be impressed)

I was mainly curious to see what she looks like today and how comfortable she would seem in the sit-com environment after being out for several years. I thought she looked great, although the brown hair was a bit different, it still worked on her, and even though she only had a few lines, just her natural non-verbal reactions and mannerisms were good. I still wish she would get another opportunity to do a TV show again.

This is about the 1st season of Wings, but it is about Crystal's hair. I don't know if anybody agrees with me but I really, really like her hair from the 1st season. Also, after watching Return to Nantucket, I "rediscovered" Brian's hair again, feathered in the front and curly in the back, which I always liked. I'm glad they had him shave finally and look decent in this episode. Can't wait for Part 2. Helen is hilarious!!!

Yes, I do agree!! I always feel a little.....shall we say biased? ......since I like her, but my favorite hair style was the slightly permed or curled or whatever you call it, coupled with something simple like the way she tied it back, just like she did during the first season.

Good grief, I'm turning into "Crab Boy" the waiter, but I can't help myself.

I thought her hair looked cool during the first season of Wings too... kinda a curly permed do... it's sorta like that in this photo of her and I taken back in '99. I also liked the Jennifer Aniston type of cut she got near the end of the 7th season. Crystal always has great hair though.

Steven's hair I definitely loved when it wasn't too long... but he's really cute no matter what.

Tim's hair I liked when it was a little longer... but then I also liked kinda the spikey look he went with during the last season. I always thought he was gorgeous though.

I think Helen has awesome hair. I always wanted hair like hers. I like her better as a blonde. Casey and alex had pretty hair too.

I liked the guys' hair when it was short or a little shaggy. I didn't like Lowell when he had long hair. No offense to anyone, but I've always found long hair on guys a little unattractive.

I thought Antonio's curly hair was adorable. I don't think he ever changed his hairstyle on the show though.

I've definitely always preferred short hair on guys too. I thought it was an interesting look for Lowell when in the opening scene of that one episode he had half of his hair cut short and the other half was still longer... he'd walked away when Fay was only partly done. I think it was the beginning of the 2 part episode when Helen married Antonio.

yeah, I've always preferred shorter hair on guys too.
Lowell's hair was really annoying when it was really long. lol.
So was Brian's. hehe.
The only time Joe's hair was too long was for the beginning of season 6. His hair always looked good... well, I wasn't too fond of the REALLY short cut he had for the last half of season 8 tho either...
and I always liked Helen's hair.
and I love Casey's hair.

lol this turned into a hair post!!

and I don't think I ever actually said that it was really cool to see Crystal on "According To Jim"! She was great.
I forgot to mention that. I meant to, but I commented about her hair first and then forgot. hahahaha.

You guys want to talk "hair"? What about FAY'S hair?

Frankly, I never liked the "naturally white" look that she had during the last few seasons...It made her look too "grandmotherly".

I thought that Fay's hair was actually FUNNY during the early episodes....It was blonde, but she also wore it an a youthful, "little girl" curly style...which was the PERFECT style for an "over the hill" stewardess who was still trying to look "cute and perky" like in her younger stewardess days!
I never realized it before, but Fay's earliest hairstyle said a lot about the character!

yeah, pilotguy- Fay's hair was really cute during the first couple of seasons of the show! hehe.
I thought it looked kinda weird too during the last couple of seasons of the show.

I thought Fay's hair was too long and definitely too white looking during the last couple of seasons. I agree about the earlier style suiting her character a lot better.

The only time I didn't like Joe's hair was when it was really super short at the beginning of season 5... it grew out pretty quick though.

To get away from the hair thing... Crystal was great on "According to Jim"... she's always had the best comedic timing and way of delivering her lines... perfect for sitcoms.
