I loved the theme song. Who did the theme song? What was the male cop's real name who was the star of the show? Wasn't his first name Don? What was his name on the show? I haven't watched this show in yrs.

The actor who portrayed Maxwell Smart was Don Adams and the theme song was written by Irving Szathmary.

Max was a secret agent not a cop. Pity Mildred Spencer died while this secret agent was tring to save her. Judy Lang don't feel bad. Live on in reallife Judy honey and God bless you.
