When I learned that the editing for the "Incredible Hulk" would differ from the 1998 Scifi broadcasts, I got excited. However excitement quickly turned to disappointment after viewing "Beast Within." While they did include some new scenes, not previously seen, such as David accidentally stepping into some animal's waste, they cut more out of the episode than before. I noticed that the fight scene between the Hulk and Elliot the Gorilla was cut so badly it was barely on the screen. It is bad enough that they cut it to start with but to subject this classic series to even further cuts is unforgivable. This is why the Hulk does not belong on Scifi.

That bothered me too, and I agree. Another thing I wish they'd stop doing is running those promos over the ending credits - no more "Lonely Man" theme! That's always been one of my favorite parts of the show.

You mean they cut more out of the series than before? Maybe it's not worth taping then.

I attempted to record an episode on Tivo and a regular hour long episode without ads is 44 minutes. Is that very short for an episode of an old TV series reran today in terms of editing?

There's always the IMDB but still. If they are going to show split screens, they should make the credits a little more coherent. |

In regard to editing of TIH (or any other hour show of today) what would an hour series run in the past without commercials or the cuts we see today? My guess is 50 minutes. Does anyone know if that is right?
