Howard Rollins wife on the show was Anne Marie Johnson. What was her name on the show? She is so damn skinny. She needs to eat more. She reminds me of my grandmother's friend daughter. Both of them kinda look alike & they are both very skinny. Anne is attractive. I saw her in Robert Townsend's Hollywood Shuffle & The Five Heartbeats movies. She was also in Halle Berry's Strictly Business movie. She played on In Living Color tv show for a minute also. She was in I'm Gonna Git You Sucka movie with Keenan Ivory Wayans. I remember the episode on In The Heat Of The Night when she was raped by a white guy. That episode was so sad. She looked bad after the rape & she was trembling.

Her character's name was Althea. Yes she is very skinny but some people are! I happen to think that she is very beautiful!

She was on What's Happening Now and married Roger if I am not mistaken but that was way before Heat Of The Night.

I saw her on That's So Raven once and asked around about it. Someone replied that she did indeed have a recurring role on the show. Don't know if that's been her most recent role or not. I don't watch Raven or House of Payne, so I don't know when they aired originally or if they still do. She was still beautiful and incredibly thin. Nothing wrong with that! Us uber skinnies have to stick together.

When Heat aired years ago, I was neutral about her character. Now that I'm older, I look back and actually like Althea a lot. She was smart, spoke her mind and really cared about other people.

She was on a recent episode of "Leverage".

Yeah, the episode from ITHOTN where she was raped was intense! Her acting was incredible in that; so much so, that no matter how many times I've seen it, I cry!

I saw her as one of the aunts on Down in the Delta, which was Eshter Rolle's final role before her death.

I got her mixed up w/ Robin Givens on that movie for soem odd reason.

Reverend Jim, nice pictures of Halle Berry. I love Strictly Business movie. That's my favorite Halle movie and she's from my hometown Cleveland, Ohio. It's sad that she can't keep a man. I heard she's about to get a divorce and this is gonna be her 3rd divorce.

I always thought she was too pretty to be married to Raj. (No offense to Raj, he was a nice guy). She was too pretty for the guy she was married to In the Heat of the Night too come to think of it! (No offence to him either, he was a nice guy too, just not hot)!!
