Does anyone else use winamp to play downloaded music and cd's? If so, I have a technical question about it.

Well, I haven't used the computer in the last 3 dys but my little brother has. I don't know what he did to it...but every time I open winamp and try to use it, a window pops up and says assertion failed. I don't know what happened!!
