Question When someone mentiones FOL...

When someone mentions "the Facts of Life" what is the very first thing that pops into your mind? Don't really think about this question, just write down the first thing that pops into your mind once someone mentions FOL...

Thumbs up

Well, there's a difference between now and before I was really into the show. A year ago, if someone had mentioned 'The Facts of Life' all that I would of remembered would be their double level room, and I'd probably remember that the characters had to wear uniforms.
Now, the first thing I think about is the cafeteria and the lounge. Really weird, huh? I have no idea why...

No one ever mentions FOL to me (my family hates it and my friends like it but are gone for the semester), but this is sort of funny and goes along with it. Do ya'll know that Lysol commercial where the first thing they say is "the facts of life". Whenever that commercial airs I'm usually at my computer and I can only hear my tv so I turn around and expect to see something with the show. I've done it so many times and still haven't learned!!

The theme, sometimes the second one, more often the third one. Never the first one

Well the first thing that pops in my mind is the fol logo it's usully the latest one that nan has on. Or sometimes the Theme song pops in my mind it mainly the 3rd version.

JO: Oh no Tootie, I hate teaching people how to drive... They're always nervous, they make stupied mistakes, and they cry when you slap them.

Blair's Poem: "If you hit a dead end
Then Look on the shelf
There might be a clue
Maybe in a book."

Tootie: That's the pot calling the kettle black.

Nat: A flash back within a flash back... I'm so brilliant it scares me.

leslie--

I do the SAME thing! The first time I saw the commercial I a double take and was thinking it wasn't fair they stole the FOL theme But I never fail to turn and see if maybe FOL is coming on everytime I hear it.

Better safe than sorry!

The first thing I think of is Jo.(And the theme song.. Anyone else get in a better mood as soon as they think of/hear the theme?)

By the way. Leslie, Ditto here. I still do a double take every time the comercial plays.
LOL. I'm even worse though.

My parents were watching the "Home and Garden" channel, and they were talking about "the Blairs" who were redecorating their house or something... and I was on the computer. So I'm typing away, and I hear the word "Blair", and I'm instantly over at the TV. It's like, "Facts of Life?! Where?"

I think of classic TV! Actually, the theme song and the paint fight scene are probably what comes to mind first.

You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and then you have......

It is impossible to even think about this show without getting that song stuck in my head. Yes, the second song, not the first, and never the third. What's REALLY weird is sometimes I get the closing credit song in my head instead.
