I lived through last month! Oh man, did I ever have my doubts. Somehow, at the end I managed to get all of my exams done, all of my speeches, and (just barely) all of my papers. I was awake for 36 hours straight finishing my papers, moving out of my apartment, and turning everything in. But - hehe, I'm DONE. I no longer live in Freiburg

But I'll cry about it later. Right now I'm just so happy it's over

I'm still in Europe for another two weeks, and THEN - THEN - THEN - I get to go HOME!!!!!

That is great. I hope when you come back you could give us more of your excellent posts. I remember over a decade ago my oldest sister went to France and lived there for a year. She's now a French and English teacher at a high school close to my house

36 hours, i stayed up all night once, I ended up being awake for 40 odd hours. Did you have really crazy dreams when you finally went to sleep cuz i know i did.

Yeah, the staying up for two days straight was pretty hard. But actually, around 4am I went to the kitchen to eat something, and I found my roommate watching TV. She couldn't sleep. She probably got 2 hours all night, and was dead the next day. For me getting no sleep, but lots of coffee, I was fine. Really perky. It's actually better to get no sleep than too little sometimes. And I was pretty good for the whole day, but when it got dark again I just kinda collapsed. My aunt thought it was pretty funny

But I gotta sleep in as long as I wanted the next day, so I was happy

Wow...that is a really long time to stay awake! I know that after 24, I just about die...and after 18, i can no longer do anything productive. lol I just kinda sit there. Congratulations though!
