Louise and George Jefferson move on up to New York City's East Side and say
goodbye to "All in the Family's" Bunkerville in the show's premiere episode.
As the couple adjusts to their newfound affluence, Louise is appalled when
George insists they hire a maid. Louise's discomfort increases even more when
she discovers that the maid, Florence, is also African American.
11:30 p.m. "All in the Family" #34 "Sammy's Visit"
Archie casts aside his usual feelings towards African Americans and opens
his heart and home to the legendary Sammy Davis Jr. when he comes to the
Bunker house to retrieve a briefcase he left in Archie's cab.
12:00 a.m. "Maude" #3 "Maude Meets Florida"
Maude Findlay hires an African-American woman named Florida as her
housekeeper. When Maude attempts to build a friendship with her, Florida balks
at the idea, demonstrating her own stereotypes.

prejudice in their modern, integrated apartment complex. They are defended
against this bigotry by the landlord and Corey's best friend's mother, Marie

donate a portion of her "noble" grandfather's estate to the school library.
Ashamed, she tries to make up for his past by doing favors and chores for
Tootie.
10:30 p.m. "Roc" #203 "Roc Works for Joey"
Roc is in the wrong place at the wrong time when he is arrested for his skin
color while painting Joey's friend's luxurious condominium. Roc must deal with
others' assumptions that an African-American man in a wealthy neighborhood is
cause for suspicion.
11:00 p.m. "The Jeffersons" #23 "Jenny's Grandparents"
Mother Jefferson and the Willies' Uncle Bertram join forces in this episode to
reunite the feuding factions of Tom's Caucasian and Helen's African-American
families. The only question is, how are they going to keep George Jefferson,
himself opposed to this interracial marriage, from ruining their plan?
11:30 p.m. "All in the Family" #8 "Lionel Moves Into the Neighborhood"

door to him. He discovers that his prejudice hits close to home when it is
revealed who the family is -- the Jeffersons -- good friends of Edith.
12:00 a.m. "Maude" #5 "Maude & the Radical"

when the guest of honor is late and the African-American guests call to
cancel, leaving the only guests at the party to be rich, white liberals.
12: 30 a.m. "Julia" #4811 "Romeo and Julia"
Julia encounters prejudice when she accepts a blind date with a white man.

Friday, February 16

10:00 p.m. "The Facts of Life" #96 "Crossing the Line"
Natalie rejects, and then suddenly accepts, a date with Tootie's cousin,
Michael. When Natalie receives praise from some peers and criticism from
others for her decision, she is shocked to learn that best friend Tootie is
one of her harshest critics.
10:30 p.m. "Roc" #217 "The Millionaire Brother"
Roc's eagerness to form a business partnership with a wealthy Caucasian man,
Jim Larson, ends when he discovers that the man is a racist.
11:00 p.m. "The Jeffersons" #54 "A Case of The Black and White"
The roles are reversed for George Jefferson when he is forced to wait hand and
foot on those he treats so intolerably on a daily basis -- his maid Florence
and his doorman Ralph -- in order to save a big business deal.
11:30 p.m. "All in the Family" #4 "Archie Gives Blood"
Archie Bunker's bigotry is clearly evident in this episode in which son-in-law
Mike convinces Archie to give blood on one condition -- Archie wants to be
made aware of the potential donees because "black blood" is different from
"white blood."
12:00 a.m. "Maude" #38 "Maude's Guest"
Maude meets her match in a feisty African-American teenager from the ghetto
whom she takes into the Findlay household for a few weeks. The teen not only
antagonizes Maude, but Florida as well.
12:30 a.m. "All in the Family" #13 "The First And Last Supper"
At the same time that Archie is circulating a petition to keep more
African-American families from moving into the neighborhood, Edith accepts an
invitation to have dinner with the Jeffersons. Archie tries desperately to get
out of the engagement by claiming Edith has sprained her ankle, but only
compounds his situation when Lionel's folks decide to bring the complete
dinner to the Bunker house.
10:00 p.m. "Roc" #220 "Ebony and Ivory"
The Emerson family is worried about Joey's fidelity to his girlfriend when
they discover that he is dating a Caucasian and African-American woman at the
same time.
10:30 p.m. "The Jeffersons" #36 "Tennis Anyone"
George discovers that different strokes are for different folks. George and
the membership committee have more than sport in mind when he is invited to
join their exclusive tennis club.
11:00 p.m. "All in the Family" #27 "Elevator Story"
Archie's worst nightmare comes true when he is trapped in an elevator with a
neurotic secretary, a wealthy African-American lawyer and a pregnant Hispanic
mother and her husband.
11:30 p.m. "The Jeffersons" #149 "Sorry, Wrong Meeting"
The Jeffersons and the Willises' all-too-close encounter with their new
neighbor -- a Ku Klux Klan member -- puts them in danger. George and Louise
must deal with the fact that on race alone, they are the enemy, while the
Willises must deal with the Klan's contempt for their interracial marriage.

Friday, February 23

12:00 a.m. "All in the Family" #42 "Lionel Steps Out"
Archie's bigotry reaches a boiling point when he finds out that Lionel
Jefferson has been dating his 21-year-old visiting niece.
12:30 a.m. "Head of the Class" #186019 "The Way We Weren't"
The honors class enters an essay writing contest in which the topic is
themselves. They find out that they will discover things in their background
that they are not too proud of, particularly conservative, young Republican
Alan.

I get to see Julia. This will be a treat. I've never seen the show B4.
