The teen not only antagonizes Maude, but Florida as well. 12:30 a.m. "All in the Family" #13 "The First And Last Supper" At the same time that Archie is circulating a petition to keep more African-American families from moving into the neighborhood, Edith accepts an invitation to have dinner with the Jeffersons. Archie tries desperately to get out of the engagement by claiming Edith has sprained her ankle, but only compounds his situation when Lionel's folks decide to bring the complete dinner to the Bunker house. 10:00 p.m. "Roc" #220 "Ebony and Ivory" The Emerson family is worried about Joey's fidelity to his girlfriend when they discover that he is dating a Caucasian and African-American woman at the same time. 10:30 p.m. "The Jeffersons" #36 "Tennis Anyone" George discovers that different strokes are for different folks. George and the membership committee have more than sport in mind when he is invited to join their exclusive tennis club. 11:00 p.m. "All in the Family" #27 "Elevator Story" Archie's worst nightmare comes true when he is trapped in an elevator with a neurotic secretary, a wealthy African-American lawyer and a pregnant Hispanic mother and her husband. 11:30 p.m. "The Jeffersons" #149 "Sorry, Wrong Meeting" The Jeffersons and the Willises' all-too-close encounter with their new neighbor -- a Ku Klux Klan member -- puts them in danger. George and Louise must deal with the fact that on race alone, they are the enemy, while the Willises must deal with the Klan's contempt for their interracial marriage. Friday, February 23 12:00 a.m. "All in the Family" #42 "Lionel Steps Out" Archie's bigotry reaches a boiling point when he finds out that Lionel Jefferson has been dating his 21-year-old visiting niece. 12:30 a.m. "Head of the Class" #186019 "The Way We Weren't" The honors class enters an essay writing contest in which the topic is themselves. They find out that they will discover things in their background that they are not too proud of, particularly conservative, young Republican Alan. I get to see Julia. This will be a treat. I've never seen the show B4. |
