Also, the editors of Soap Opera Weekly, and Soap Opera Digest have weekly chats with fans on their websites (Days is Thurs, 4:30pm/et)

Most of the info comes from that chat.

Anyway....

There WILL be a serial killer. Steve Wyman (co-exec-producer, i think) gave out the fall previews to the editor today, should be out sometime soon (last part just my speculation). Jack and Jenn and John and Marlena have storylines tying them into the killer (most likely all the characters will).

Apparently, Reilly is still going to ax 6-7 characters. I'm not sure whether it was mentioned if they were contract, dayplayers or recurring players. Should be interesting.

Christie Clark has still NOT been contacted by DAYS, but IMO, this means nothing, because Reilly is obviously axing some characters to bring a few back, and it could take a while.

Billie might not return, but apparently there is a good chance Vivian could.

Jillian Clare replaces Megan Corletto as Abigail on August 28th. The character was aged to expand storyline possibilities.

No one is really confirming (or denying) that August 8th is Reilly's first episode, but my hunch it is. I think he has been tweaking things for a while now.

lol, I got up and just read this stuff on another board, and was thinking about posting it. lol. I'm glad about these changes, I'm looking forward to Reilly's work, I've got high expectations, but I'm sure he'll meet them.
