Dear Ndugo,
I watched a movie last night. Now, I know that in your situation you aren’t able to get out and see many movies. I thought you might like to hear about how it is over here where we can see movies. The movie was called About Schmidt and it starred Jack Nicholson. Jack is in his 60’s, Ndugo, maybe even his 70's, and he’s been around for so long in the movies that I keep expecting him to lose my interest. Nope! Didn’t happen, Ndugo. Jack is such a fine actor that he hardly has to speak to get across what his character is thinking. Do you know what I mean, Ndugo? You’re a young fellow but I’ll bet that you’re a smart young fellow so I’m guessing that you know what I mean. Well, Jack had me both laughing and crying all throughout this movie. It seemed like everything went wrong for his character but he pulled through all right even so. His wife died; he loved her as well as hated her. His daughter married an idiot-con-artist. He loved her but finally realized that he and she would never understand each other. That was tough to take, Ndugo. Very sad. In the end though, Jack’s character kept his chin off of his chest. Surprisingly and unexpectedly someone just like you, Ndugo, gave Jack’s character a reason to live! I’ll let you go now, so you can cash that check I sent, and get yourself something to eat. Keep it real, Ndugo, Kitt

I really liked this film. At first I really wanted to see more comedy, but after watching realised it was a great movie with a great story and acting whether or not there is lots more comedy. I agree the film wasreally sad, especiallywhen he was putting on his late wifes face cream. Good film
But Ndugo can't read, so he made you this picture-

LOL, very clever Kitt. I adored About Schmidt. It was one of my favorites this year so far.
I enjoyed Roger Ebert's review. http://www.suntimes.com/ebert/ebert_...12/122001.html Rottentomatoes has a lot of information on the movie as well. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/AboutSchmidt-1117768/ |

What-what did you just say? JERRY: I can't take it anymore! She's driving me crazy! I can't sleep, I can't leave the house, and I' here, I'm climbin' the walls.
