Cool Crystal needs to do a new sitcom!

I'd love to see her do a new sitcom. I thought she was so funny on Wings. Crystal is such an under-rated actress. She deserved an Emmy for playing Helen!

Snoopy, you're preaching to the choir!

I couldn't agree more. I think Crystal did a fantastic job on Wings and at a minimum she should have at least been nominated for an emmy.

I know for a few years she concentrated more on her music career, but I really don't know why she hasn't gotten an opportunity to do more TV work. I thought I'd heard a a couple years ago that she might be in a new sit-com, but nothing ever came of it.

Crystal is definitely the best and I really hope that she'll get her own sitcom soon... she totally deserves it!!

Although a sitcom would definitely be my first choice... I think Crystal would also be great in a drama too. All of her TV movies that I've seen have been awesome and she's so talented in that facet of acting as well. I found her performance in "Dying To Be Perfect" to be incredible and totally moving... I bawl throughout the entire thing seeing her character go through a tough battle with bulemia.

I've never seen her in a drama. Well, I've never seen her in anything other than Wings. hehe.
But I know in the next month some of her TV movies are going to be on TV, so I'm going to try to catch those.
Here- go to this site, and it lists all her upcoming TV appearances for the next month or so: http://www.tv-now.com/stars/crybern.html
(losthighway posted this link here a while back, so give him credit for this one). You can put in any actor's name on that site, and it gives all their upcoming movies or TV appearances that are going to be on TV for the next month.

Supposedly, one of Tim Daly's movies is going to be on the Sci-fi Channel sometime in August... no fair- I'm boycotting the Sci-fi Channel. Well, maybe I can lift my boycott for 2 hours to watch that. hehe.
I don't even remember what movie it is. I just checked the site yesterday, but I'm too lazy to look it up now. lol!

ok, I'll stop rambling

Yeah... that TV-now site is great for finding out when your favorite people will be on TV.

I use it as a guide when updating my Crystal site's news page.

Definitely catch Crystal's movies if you can. "A Face To Kill For" is particularly cool.

Jen

P.S. Krista, love the Helen quote in your signature. Crystal could always do the funniest impression of being drunk. "Could somebody pull over the car... I think I'm gonna be sick." As she's rambling while sitting on the floor of a cabin with Joe, Brian and Alex and she's totally drunk.

Maybe what's needed to get Crystal back into a regular TV series is to make the show a situation comedy with a show-business theme....That way she could play a singer and work her songs into the show, like how Desi Arnaz did on "I Love Lucy" or Danny Thomas did on "Make Room For Daddy".

I think that if Crystal had a chance to perform her music on the series, she would be more willing to get back into "the TV grind" than if she was offered a straight, music-less sitcom....but that's just what I suspect.

I think it would be awesome if they could incorporate Crystal's music into her tv show. They've done it with a couple of her movies, "Hey" was featured in "To Love, Honor and Betray" and "To Dream Without You" and "Here's Looking at You" in "A Face To Kill For." She could definitely at least sing the theme song of the show like Kelsey Grammar does for "Frasier."

Just thought I'd mention that Crystal will be on "According to Jim" Tuesday night.

I've never seen this show before, but I'll watch this episode just because I'm curious to see Crystal again and see if she still has the great comedy timing and delivery that she had all those years on Wings. I'm sure she'll have a small role in the episode, but anything is better then nothing.

I watched Crystal's episode of "According To Jim" when it originally aired. She does an awesome job in it although her part isn't very big. It was really cool seeing her on TV again.
