Okay, I'm only going to announce this one. I have been working on a screenplay based on the tv show...
Here it is (even though it's not necessarily original in context and form I think it does respect) FADE IN: EXT. STREET -- DAY Downtown. A busy street. Pedestrians cross in either di-rection. Some are busy, others are cluttering the street slowly making their way across the mangled web of a busy morning. NARRATOR (V.O.) Once a upon a time, not so long ago -- DISSOLVE TO: EXT. DEPARTMENT STORE -- MOMENTS LATER At the mouth, people pass to and fro through the revolving doors. MANNEQUINS showcase the latest styles in display case window panes. NARRATOR (V.O.) Your typical American girl. A WOMAN (SAMANTHA), in her late-20s, enters FRAME crossing the street. NARRATOR (V.O.) ...and your typical red-blooded Ameri-can boy. CROSSING INTO FRAME, A MAN (DARRIN), crosses the street. NARRATOR (V.O.) ... suddenly bumped into each other. Both DARRIN and SAMANTHA bump into each other. No words are spoken, but smiles are exchanged. SAMANTHA continues while DARRIN sizes her for what she is worth. DISSOLVE TO: INT. DEPARTMENT STORE -- MOMENTS LATER SAMANTHA is sidestepping through an isle, sorting aside clothes on display racks. DARRIN is in a separate isle. SAMANTHA leaves her isle taking along selected clothes. NARRATOR (V.O.) And they bumped into each other. DARRIN is headed down another isle. Now turning around, he inadvertently steps directly into SAMANTHA'S path. They exchange eye contact with smiles. DISSOLVE TO: INT. DEPARTMENT STORE -- MOMENTS LATER SAMANTHA swiftly appears around an isle, arms full with bags of clothes. She turns and DARRIN bumps into her, the bags fall with clothes toppling out. DARRIN kneels down gathering the strewn clothes. NARRATOR (V.O.) And they bumped into each other, again... DISSOLVE TO: EXT. DEPARTMENT STORE -- MOMENTS LATER The turnstile doors are still as active as they were before. SAMANTHA, amid passerby, weaves through the channel of in-comers. DARRIN searches for a possible berth. SAMANTHA and DARRIN find themselves struggling to exit the same turnstile door. NARRATOR (V.O.) And it just so happens that they bumped into each other, yet again... DISSOLVE TO: INT. RESTAURANT -- LATER NARRATOR (V.O.) So they decided to sit down and talk about it -- over dinner -- before they had an accident. DARRIN and SAMANTHA are sitting at a dining table, animatedly conversing over candle-lit dinner. DISSOLVE TO: INT. DISCOTHEQUE -- NIGHT SAMANTHA and DARRIN dance wildly together, enjoying them-selves. NARRATOR (V.O.) They became good friends. DISSOLVE TO: EXT./INT. CONVERTIBLE - EVENING A MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE, with the top still up, is parked on the hillside overlook. SAMANTHA and DARRIN can be seen within the car. NARRATOR (V.O.) They realized that they had a lot in common. INT. CONVERTIBLE -- CONTINUOUS It's dark inside except for the glow from the moon pouring in. CUT TO: INT. DRIVE-IN THEATER -- EVENING NARRATOR (V.O.) Such as movies. The top of the convertible is down. They kiss over a bag of popcorn resting in a cupholder. The speaker phone is mute. CUT TO: INT. DARRIN'S APARTMENT -- EVENING NARRATOR (V.O.) TV. DARRIN and SAMANTHA neck on a couch. The glare of the tele-vision illuminates their faces, casting shadows upon the wall behind them. CUT TO: EXT. MEADOW -- AFTERNOON A picnic blanket has been spread out across the grass. Empty containers have been left open. DARRIN and SAMANTHA are sprawled out, hidden low, necking in the grass. Nearby, a transistor radio crackles and squawks feed. NARRATOR (V.O.) Radios. CUT TO: EXT. HIGHWAY -- MORNING DARRIN and SAMANTHA wait in the MUSTANG as a TRAIN passes. Cars are bumper-to-bumper. INT. CONVERTIBLE -- CONTINUOUS The gearshift is in park and DARRIN and SAMANTHA amuse each other. NARRATOR (V.O.) Trains. EXT. HIGHWAY -- CONTINUOUS The TRAIN clears and the GUARD RAIL draws back. The sound of horns gradually rise in response to the idle convertible. VEHICLES drive around the idle vehicle. Inappropriate hand signals respond to the MUSTANG as other drivers roll down windows and give comments. A rather futile attempt at sum-moning the attention of the oblivious love birds. NARRATOR (V.O.) And when the boy found the girl ir-resistibly intoxicating, he did what any other typical red-blooded Ameri-can boy would do. He married her. CUT TO: INT. CHAPEL -- AFTERNOON DARRIN slips the ring over SAMANTHA'S finger. NARRATOR (V.O.) They had a typical wedding. DARRIN kisses SAMANTHA. CUT TO: EXT. PARKING LOT -- LATER The CONVERTIBLE draws out of the PARKING LOT. "JUST MARRIED" ornaments decorate the rear fender. NARRATOR (V.O.) Spent a typical honeymoon. CUT TO: INT. BRIDAL SUITE -- NIGHT NARRATOR (V.O.) Rented a typical bridal suite. DARRIN sporting a dressing gown, impatiently sips champagne out of his tulip glass. DARRIN clocks his wristwatch with an equal-ly impatient eye. DARRIN glances at CAMERA, then glances back at his wristwatch. He sighs reluctantly. CUT TO: INT. BRIDAL SUITE, BEDROOM -- CONTINUOUS SAMANTHA donning a nightgown, stands before a bureau setting her hair. NARRATOR (V.O.) Except, that this girl -- SAMANTHA glances around the room, noticing her negligee is too far away, and quickly waves her hand toward her. (MUSIC STING) the negligee RISES OFF THE BED, crossing to her awaiting hand. SAMANTHA deftly lifts her finger and the hairbrush on the far stand rises gradually, traveling across the room comb-ing her hair, in MID-AIR! NARRATOR (V.O.) Is a witch. Curtains billow slowly, a sourceless wind rises, and a clap of light leaves a clearing of smoke with a WOMAN (ENDORA), standing in the center of the room. SAMANTHA turns to her sudden appearance. SAMANTHA Mother! ENDORA crosses over to SAMANTHA placing a protective hand on her shoulder. ENDORA What in the hell are you doing here? I let you out of my sight no longer than a minute and you marry someone. Those warlocks -- SAMANTHA I don't want to go home. I'm happily married, and I'm enjoying a marvelous honeymoon. Good-bye, Mother! ENDORA Oh, what has he done? Has he placed you under a spell? Those warlocks are so mischievous! SAMANTHA How would he? He's mortal! ENDORA I need a drink! ENDORA raises a hand and a HIGHBALL appears. SAMANTHA He's a sweet, charming, marvelous young man! You'll leave him alone! ENDORA I'll turn him into ashes, that's what I'll do. A momentary pause of silence, then: SAMANTHA Quiet now, he's coming! Here's your chance to meet him! ENDORA raises both hands. SAMANTHA Mother!! ENDORA I won't hurt him. I'm going to play with him, that's all! An unsatisfied glance crosses SAMANTHA'S face. ENDORA Trust me! CUT TO: INT. BRIDAL SUITE - CONTINUOUS DARRIN turns the doorknob. P.O.V. BRIDAL SUITE - CONTINUOUS The door opens to the HOTEL LOBBY! INT. MAIN LOBBY - CONTINUOUS A water-drenched DARRIN approaches a DESK CLERK. CLERK Wild night? DARRIN Has to be. His brow furrows. CUT TO: INT. BRIDAL SUITE, BEDROOM - MOMENTS LATER SAMANTHA Mother, how dare you! ENDORA Just a little disorientation! SAMANTHA More like complete displacement! SAMANTHA rests on the bed. ENDORA It worked! (genuine hurt) Do you know what you have done? Marrying into the mortal family, you've brought great scandal to a fine family name. SAMANTHA Once you meet him, you'll see! INT. BRIDAL SUITE - CONTINUOUS DARRIN enters, still bewildered. He crosses to the low end table and snatches the champagne. He studies the label. DARRIN (distrust) I knew it! It's not Muscatel! INT. BRIDAL SUITE, BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS SAMANTHA Mother, I want you to understand me and my feelings for Darrin. I love him with all of my heart, and your witchcraft will not change my mind. At all! ENDORA glares. SAMANTHA raises a hand. SAMANTHA Night to day, day to night. Backward bent and forward straight. You will be sent at no later date. ENDORA Oh, please. That didn't even work. ENDORA scoffs, and abruptly POPS out. DARRIN enters the room. SAMANTHA Where have you been? DARRIN You wouldn't believe it if I was to tell you. SAMANTHA Why not? DARRIN I don't believe it myself. I'm still busy working on it. (among other screenplays) |

Not exactly. Exactly as the style, the pace, the scenes.... but some of the dialog is different.... it's hard to tell... I was working off the pilot script and wanted it to be slightly different.... I'm still working on it.
