Default Funniest/Favorite Scene

Everybody has a favorite episode, but picking a favorite (or funniest) scene is harder. What are your favorites?

Two off the top of my head:

The pot smoking scene in the bathroom was drop dead hilarious. the funniest part was when DJ came to the door and Roseanne screamed, really fast "Whatd'yawantDJ?" And Jackie in the bathtub- one of the funniest things I have ever seen on tv.

In "Rear Window," when Roseanne ripd open her blouse and says "Yeah... what colour are my eyes?"

My favorite scene emotional wise was when Roseanne read the speech to her dad at the funeral. That remains my favorite episode of the entire series as it showcased just how incredibly strong Roseanne and Laurie Metcalfe were as actresses.

My fave is the one where Roseanne, Jackie, and Nancy go to the self defense class, and as they walk in, the see the student pounding away on the "attacker" actor, and Nancy says, "Oh, didn't this place used to be Taters, Taters, Taters?"

And when Roseanne played Santa at Bardwells and Jackie was Mrs. Claus, before all the kids could sit on Roseanne's lap, Jackie starts acting like a drill seargeant and hollers, "Any infraction will cause the denial of your lollipop!"

Remember, posession of cane is a priviledge, not a right.

I also love Jackie's face as the kid got a hold of the camera and she's yelling at him.

That scene was my fave. That was just hilarious.

also i like the one where she ripped open her shirt and asked what color her eyes were, that was truly priceless

I really like the scene in brain dead poet's society when darlene read her poem, it was so beautiful i started tearing up

hmm another good scene is the one where jackie tries to beat up dan(i think) i haven't seen that one in a while but i'm pretty sure jackie tried to beat him up...it was funny

My favorite scene is when David was talking to Jimmy and Darlene walks in Jimmy thinks that David is Craig and he is gay

I also like the scene when Darlene tells Roseanne she wants to stay home (this is after they brought her baby home)

I like the one when David is caught sneaking into Darlenes Room when he is staying at Jackies and Dan finds that out

The last one I can think of is the one when Roseanne went to her moms house and Jackie was helping to take care of the kids and Jackie and Dan are talking and it almost looks like they are going to kiss when the phone rings and Dan tells Roseanne to hold on and finally answers Jackie question if he remembers the first time they met, I thought that was sweet

My fave scene would probably be where they are smoking up in the bathroom and Roseanne has the munchies and says something like "This is how I gained all of this weight..." lol

The scene where Jackie has Darlene over. Jackie is drunk and just acts like a nut. Laurie did a great job in this!

A scene from "Sweet Dreams." They are in the courtroom and bring a little musical theatre into it.

Default Favorite Scenes

By far the funniest scene from Roseanne is the bathroom scene in the pot smokin episode! Birds, Birds! I also like the scene when Becky and Darlene are cleaning up DJs room so Jackie can stay there after she gets injured on the job and they find the box of doll heads. Barbie, GI Joe....oh Cher!! to funny!

Yep the pot smoking episode was hilarious.

My other 2 faves were when Arnie returns to try and get Nancy back and when he asks what's new, Roseanne replies:

"Well Arnie, Nancy is a lesbian and we've got a new Lenscrafters."

The other episode was where Bev brings her new boyfriend Jake to the diner and Roseanne drops something on the floor and asks Jake to pick it up so they could look at his butt.lol.

That's HOME EC. She jumps on his back, was hollering things like "If you are gonna black out tell me!" and Dan just goes about his normal business with Jackie hanging on his back acting like a maniac. Hilarious.

My favorite scene though is from Inherit the Wind when Becky is sitting on the couch and Darlene comes in, fluffs up the pillow, sits down and blows a huge raspberry on her hands.

Another one is when Darlene and David were in her room hurrying to get dressed thinking Dan and Roseanne were home. David said "I'm never doing this with my pants off again!"

On my left, I saw days upon days of lipstick and ticking clocks, dirty looks and quiet whisperings. And burning secrets that just won't ever die away. And on my right, what could I picture? The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

The "What-do-you-want-DJ?!" from the episode where they got high! That was THE funniest thing that ever happened in that show. I laugh (out loud) every time I think about it.

Also I liked the "Who told you I played with my instrument in band?" comment from DJ when Darlene told him that she heard he was playing with his instrument (masturbating).

I totally agree with you! After she told Dan to maintain then she cant! Then she thinks she is a bad mother cause her organs are all full of pot! Great writing, great cast! A classic!

Where Darlene Comes in from school and starts screaming you never guess what happened to Becky at school today. From what I heard she was on stage about to give her speech, and Darlene keeps going on and on and Roseanne and Dan get to the points, so Darlene says well as soon as she was about to give her speech she cut the cheese.

Then Roseanne says to Dan you go upstairs and talk to her and he says why me? She says well I figured you have experience in thsi area, Dan goes to go upstairs and comes runing back down laughing hystrically and says I can't do it I just can't do it.
