I know many people will disagree with me, but I think Nancy McKeon and Kim Fields have every right to decline doing this movie, and I would probably still watch it without them. It could still be a decent movie with Blair, Natalie, and Mrs. G. However, killing any of the characters is not a good idea. I think it would upset a lot of fans as well as hurt the ratings on Nick at Nite. I do not think I could watch the reruns anymore. I am a very religious person, and I am just going to trust God that they will change the plot of this movie. There are other ways to explain someone's absence. Think what you want about my beliefs, but I think this movie needs some devine intervention.
I know where you're coming from!

I think the idea of the reunion is a great one, but it just wouldn't work if Kim Fields and Nancy McKeon decide not to do it. I'm not sure how much truth there is in the whole "we're going to kill off Jo" rumor, but I think if any of the characters died, the reunion itself would be depressing. I'd rather watch a happy reunion than one where they have to cope with the loss of a friend. Anyone with me on this?

I have a pretty good feeling that the reunion will never materialize if they are planning to kill off one of the principal characters. There has been so many rumors surrounding this that no network in their right mind will sign off on the script. If people know that a main character is going to nod off, not to mention, the most popular main character, they aren't going to show it. Past history has shown that ratings for shows that people KNOW are going to be depressing are low. No network is going to fund a movie that they KNOW will result in bad ratings and could potentially drag down the entire night's worth of programming.

This is just my opinion; I am basing this on alot of work I did researching television programming options when I was earning my bachelors degree in broadcasting.

i'm sorry, but you would have to be too obcessed (or however you spell it) with the show to be praying about it, and being mad at the producers or whoever if they kill a character. IT IS FICTIONAL! THE CHARACTERS ARE NOT REAL! i dont mean to be rude, but if you involve yourself too much in fol, chances are you are gonna try to live one of the characters lives, which is never gonna work, b/c all of them are not real. i mean how often do 11 year olds walk into bars? and how often do girls dressed like charlie chaplin get raped? i'm sorry if i sound like i'm lecturing you, but i now see where parents are coming from when they say tv will rot your mind. anyway, thats just my opinion, so dont get all mad at me or anything.

thank you for that, flower. But I'm well aware that the characters are not real people. I do have my own life and have never felt the need to try to live it like any character from any show. However, I do happen to enjoy watching a few tv shows---for entertainment purposes only---and all I was saying was that it wouldn't be very entertaining to watch a show about people having to act like they had lost a friend. (Even though they didn't really lose a friend, because as we all know, these people are not real.)

You know before, i've said that I would'nt care if there was a reunion or not, but now i've changed my mind. After I thought about it, I DO want a reunion, and a happy one at that. That's why it sucks to say that the odds for one are awfully slim. But I guess I would be happy with whatever we got, despite the 'death' or 'cameo' of the most popular character. Well, that's what I think...

There were some good points brought up. However I'm praying too that everyone is alive and well. I'm not obsessed, but it is fun to follow up on old shows and see what the characters are doing at the present time.
