Default Gang skipping grades and another BMW mistake

Did BMW skipped grades? What grade were they in during 3rd season? It was 8th grade, right? The reason why I'm guessing 8th grade is because in one of the episodes (I think it was the 1st episode of season 3) Turner was talking about his vacation with Sean, and I think Fenny was talking how his relationship with Sean must changed, now that school has started. I believe Sean moved in with Turner while he was still in 7th grade, then came summer vacation, then the 8th grade school year. I think i have the information correct. Then I believe i read where the gang were juniors during 4th season. What do u guys think of all this?
I think i caught another mistake. I think Sean's mom took off while he was in seventh grade, but i think in season 4 (if i'm not mistaking) Sean says that it has been a year when his mom took off. Or did Sean say that it was over a year when his mom took off?

I think it was just a matter of writing errors

Click on that link and they can explain it better, it was split up, they pretty much was something like this: 2 grades per season, same with their ages.

Yeah you're definitely right about that...I started out as being in the same grade as Cory and all of them, but they somehow all graduated like 2 years ahead of me lol. There are a lot of mistakes in the show, I read a lot of them on some site but I can't remember which. Like remember when Cory tries to straighten his hair or whatever and Shawn calls his sister Stacey about it? Then she was never mentioned again. Togpanga's sister Nebula was mentioned in earlier episodes but at the end she'd be written out, and not to mention Topanga's dad being played by I think 4 different guys over the years (and the mother 2 different ladies I think.) And does anyone remember Shawn's other sibling...not Jack or Stacey...the guy Corey tried taping when he was stealing TVs or something, his half brother? It's funny I always liked the show cuz it seemed so real to me then all this weird stuff happens. Oh well its still like the best show ever!

When the show began, I am pretty sure I was the same age as Cory, Shawn, and Topanga...5th grade. Didn't they graduate in 1999, or was it 2000? I graduated in 2001, so the show skipped at least one grade.

I was thinking the same about Stacey. I forgot about Nebula, but you're right. Also, Jedediah (Topanga's dad) wasn't the same guy when they got divorced. Sean's half brother no one really cared about cause he didn't really live with Sean...
