Last night, they aired the one in which Darren struggled to learn Italian for a client but (due to Endora's meddling) wound up speaking ONLY Italian. Anyway, when he first holed himself in his office with the language LPs, he first puts on a record with a man teacher. . but then quite abruptly in shock yanks off the phonograph needle and puts away that record when the teacher makes it clear that this LP's sole intent is to teach American men how to pick up Italian signorinas for dates!
Yet, TVLand editted this so that the man teacher introduced himself then, without any explanation, the woman teacher's LP is playing (the one who recites numbers and calls students who can't count to 5 'stupido'). Come on,why did they edit that? I mean the man teacher's introductory lines were tame even compared to 'Three's Company' (which Nickat Nite airs- and think how tame that is compared to today's sitcom dialogue)! |

Edited for time, probably. That sounds funny. I've seen this ep tons of times, but I've never seen the whole unedited episode. It's so funny.
