i need help - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

i know this has absolutley nothing to do with cheers but i cant figure out how to get a custum avatar(sp?) can someone plz tell me how!~~~~~ thx soooo much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay

Step 1: Find a picture on a website
(If you ask me use Google.com to find a pic)
Step 2: Copy the picture
Step 3: Go to a file on your comp that lets you resize pictures (Try Microsoft Paint its on most computers)
Step 4: Paste the picture and resize it up to 150 pixels by 150. You can see how many pixels it is by looking at the lower right corner whille you are resizing the pic. If the pic looks really Pixely (Little boxes in the picture) Then you might want to find a smaller picture.
Step 5: Make sure you resize the white backround to the size of the pic or the avatar wont work
Step 6: Save the Picture as a jpeg (You can make the pic a jpeg by clicking the scroll that says what the file is and click on Jpeg)
Step 7: Go to your User cp and click change avatar in the Options section.
Step 8: Click browse on the avatar section and double click your picture file in the window.
Step 9: Click done and your ready to go...

im still not having much luck... its not ur directions its just that i dont have that paint program so its throwing me off a little... its alright i'll figure it out!!!!!!! thx
