Question Tonight's Episodes

So, what did everyone think of tonight's episodes? As Jo would say 'I split a gut laughin'' at some of the 'Jo vs Blair' remarks, and Natalie was hilarious when she was singing those few songs in the second episode! I think her facial expressions grow on me more and more each day
I also watched the ending credits, something I do very closely these days, and I can't help but wonder what the scenes they edited out are about... Ms. G and Jo laughing about a carrott...? Ms. G and Jo trying to fix tha table...? There were so many and my mind just can't help but wonder... Oh, and another thing I've noticed in these past few 'ending credits': I know how everyone is always talking about the close friendship between Nancy and Lisa, but it seems Nancy and Mindy had a whole lotta fun on set! At the end of tonight's first episode they were cracking up while Jo was trying to get the make up of Nat's face. Oh yeah, one more thing--Nancy must have been into sports alot back then because she spun that ball on her finger with the best of 'em

Peace out, people!

(I liked this line:

Blair: Miss Garrett always said we could talk with her about anything.

Jo: She was talking about sex, Blair. This is personal.

------------------
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
Jo: Things are NOT going well here. They're dragging your name through the mud...I think I'm gonna have to hit somebody.

Natalie: Who asked you to defend my honor?

Jo: I think I'm gonna have to hit you.

I really enjoyed both episodes tonight. I had never seen the second episode before. I do have to agree about the friendships on the set between the girls. And the whole basketball spinning thing is something that cannot be faked, along with the on-set friendships, or done from a camera angle to make it look real. That is something you can either do or not do. Being a former basketball player in high school I really have to give it to Nancy for being able to do that. It was fabulous.

Not to take away from Nancy's spotlight, but I never found twirling a basketball that hard.... I picked it up in a matter of minutes, but then again, I may have just been lucky.

I noticed the end of the episode as well when Jo was rubbing Nat's face playfully. I'm sure at that age, they were all pretty close. I think they were young enough and FOL hadn't peaked to the point where any of them would have developed an ego.

I agree!! hehe... I find it easy too....!! but you know waht... i personally like the one when mrs. g's son comes to visit best! hehe... I have seen both of these episodes before on the first run... cuz the first episode i saw was the teenage marriage one then i taped all of the ones after that... sex symbol, the secret, pretty babies, bought and sold, free spirit, gossip, growing pains, a baby in the house, and then a friend in deed... those are all on my FIRST tape that I EVER taped of Facts of Life... now that i have about 19 tapes... i still watch that tape like EVERY weekend!! hehe... for it being my first tape i am more afraid of it not being able to work after a while i watch it so much! but now that i gave a whole long speech about it I'll go... bye bye

------------------
jo: mrs. g gone on ahead I KNOW i can fix the problem
MRs. G: jo only twice in my life have i spoke in an arbitrary manner, once when my ex husband morgaged our home to pay the bookee, and now, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE OR I'LL BEAT YOU WITH MY FRYING PAN!!!

Jo: Woaw Nat!! (grabs blairs palm tree from nat) Nice Girls Don't Throw Trees!!!

blair: now jo i know we usually dont agree but that was a scuzy thing for your mother to do!
tootie: wahts so scuzy about it!?!? dont you read the national enquirer, some of the best people are Shacking up!!
mrs. g: TOOTIE!!! im surrounded by x-rated kids!!!

You all have to have some hidden talent because I remember sometimes before practice half the team trying to do that and most of them failing miserably! Congrats to you two!

also anyways i thought the episode was wicked funny, espically when willis finds the feet pj's and jo said that they were her's....ahaha and also when jo is like blushing,"she liked my bone structure"...those were some classic moments!

------------------
Nat: Hello sailor!

Tootie: hot stuff coming through, and the pizza's are warm too!

Jinny: if you pinch my a$$ one more time, i'll kick your's

Jinny: i think i am going to give up men
Magda: you, give up sex?
Jinny: i didn't say i was giving up sex, i just said i was giving up men! to tell you the truth i kinda like the idea of becoming intamate with something that comes with a money-back gaurentee!

Blair: thunder thighs is hanging up her spikes...
Sue Ann: and you just gave me a great idea were to put them

Yep Coily, you definetly have talent. I have been playing b-ball ever since I could walk and I STILL can't do a finger roll-not for lack of trying though

I liked the second episode too FOL85, Natalie was really good in it I laughed in both of them, but here is another line from episode 2 that I found myself watching over and over last night:

Blair: Look, I know a fony when I see one.

Jo: You should. You spend enough time lookin' in the mirror.

That's a classic

Did anyone notice that in "Bought & Sold" when Jo and Willis went out the door into the hall you can see Mindy Cohn sitting down @ the other end of the hall? She's sitting there giggling! LOL!! Looks like someone's camera angle was too wide!!

------------------
Mr. Bradley: .....and that girls is the thrill of victory!

Tootie: Or the agony of DA FEET!

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

(Tootie starts rambling)

Natalie (thinking): I am going to nail her mouth to the floor. I can picture it now there'd be a spike through her tongue, but the lips would still be moving. She'd just keep whining on and on about how she'd never do that to me because she's my best friend. And if it made me feel guilty about nailing her mouth to the floor than she's glad I did it and......
(stops and realizes everyone's looking at her)
