Default Time change starting in September on Nick@Nite

Starting Friday, September 26, Wings will move to every night at 3:30 a.m. on Nick@Nite. It will no longer air at 1:00 a.m. after the September 20 airing.

Well, that's just terrific. How can N@N show trash like Full House in prime-time and give Wings the shaft? I'm betting that Full House, during it's marathon, will bite it in the ratings much harder than Wings may have. Then the process of slipping into later time-slots will begin. Or maybe it'll just move to Nickelodeon, where it belongs.

For Wings fans who hate Full House, remember one thing: Wings was the sitcom that NBC aired against FH when that show got cancelled. So we killed Full House. We can do it again.

Man, this new time slot sucks! But like Freakzilla said, we killed Full House in the ratings once, maybe we can do it again.

This sucks.

You know what would be a good time slot? 5:30 am. That way, since it's the last show on N@N, no one talks (or in other ways interupts) during the ending credits. Plus, some people, like me, could go to sleep then wake up early and watch it. I usually wake up around 5:30 anyways. It's like, 1 is late, but you can usually wait it out. 5:30 is so late that you can sleep and wake up. But 3:30 is right in the middle. So that's just bad.

3:30 AM??? What happened to the September move to 2 AM? (Not that THAT was any great shakes either!).

Adam's right....5:30 AM WOULD be better...then at least you could get up early and have your first cup of coffee with the "Wings" gang! (And it WOULD be a great way to start the day!)

That 2:00am thing was someone's PREDICTION.

At this point do you know what I would like to see happen? I would like to see NICK say, "You know what, folks? This "WINGS" show just didn't work out for us.....We had hoped that it would be a big hit, but it just didn't cut the mustard with our audience.".....THEN I wish that NICK would just stop showing "Wings" altogether, so then it would be available for OTHER more appreciative networks or stations to give it a decent home.

Going from 11 PM to 3:30 AM in LESS THAN A YEAR???? I've seen shows get the shaft on NICK and TV Land before, but I have NEVER seen a series get swept under the rug as fast as "Wings" has been!

Well I'm one of the rare ones who loves Full House, and I don't mind it being on N@N. I can't blame the show for Wings being moved back I blame N@N. Plus they insist on two airings of Roseanne and Cosby. I will never ever watch Cosby again, thanks to N@N I am sick of the name Cosby.

I hope Roseanne, and Cosby start sinking in the ratings, I don't buy that Cosby is doing as well as they say it is.

I guess N@N thinks that we Wings fans have no jobs to go to, so we're able to stay up at all hours of the night watching the show. Like Pilotguy mentioned, all the time changes in less than a year?! 11pm to 1am to 2am??to 3:30am. At this rate, Wings keeps getting pushed up again every few months, hopefully eventually, it'll be scheduled at a decent time!!!

Come to think of it, didn't "Wings" start OUT on NICK with two strikes against it?

We're all talking (myself included) like the "good old days" of "Wings" being on NICK at 11 PM was a great deal....but the 11PM time slot is usually the first "demotion" in a NEW series' run on NICK....Most NEW series (and "Wings" WAS brand-spankin' new at the time) start out their "Nick at Nite" life being shown at 9 or 10 PM.

"Wings" NEVER enjoyed the cushy 9 or 10 PM "Prime Time" slot that other new "Nick At Nite" shows are privileged to.

This whole situation reminds me of that scene in "Mommy Dearest" when Joan Crawford's grown adopted daughter Christina, after years of being abused by Joan, finally has enough and growls at Joan, "WHY DID YOU ADOPT ME?".....I feel like growling to the people at NICK, "WHY DID YOU BUY 'WINGS'?".

I remember when The Odd Couple came. It's first time was at 11:00pm. However, it did stay a few years, but it also went later into the night.

N@N must think all he Wings fans have TiVo or something.

I'm happy that N@N even called "Wings" a Modern TV Classic in the first place, now I just wished they'd treat it like one.

And Topanga, I like Full House, too. I used to watch it every Friday night and then even on Tuesday night. I watched it on TBS. It's a nice family comedy. But it didn't make my top 100 favorite sitcoms list. Wings is # 3.

As for Roseanne, I never really liked it. Much like Coach, my dad watched it, so I had heard of it, and seen it alot. However, I was starting to like Coach, before the moved it to 2:00am.

This is ridiculous! All the shows are being shoved to the side to accomodate TCS and the new shows they are bringing on in the fall. I don't even watch N@N anymore except to watch Cheers every once in a while because all the other shows I like are being given the shaft by being shown in the middle of the night. I have 8:00 classes, so I can't stay up and watch them! OK, I'm done ranting!

BTW, Full House was my fave show when I was a kid! I think it is too soon to bring it on N@N, especially when the have so many other shows on their schedule that they should be airing and don't!

Sorry guys I thought it was valid, it wasn't my prediction though. Someone had posted it on the Cosby boards so I thought it was true and posted here and the Cheers boards. Again my apologies .
