Question Fav Seasons

I noticed that most of you people are big 8th and 9th season fans... Does anybody else here think that the eastland years and the first edna's edible season was the best?? I'd have to say that seasons 2-5 were the best years ever on the facts of life... i'm not a real big fan of the later seasons cuz it felt like something was missing... Bev was hilarious and all and there were some good episodes when beverly ann was there and beverly ann was sooo funny... she was more fun with the girls than mrs. g ever could... but i still think that the eastland years are the best... seasons 2-5 what does everyone else think?

Oh, I so agree with you, I think the last three seasons, with lack of a better word, suck. Sorry if I offended anyone, but most of you know i'm not a big fan of Over Our Heads, or Beverly Ann. I definetely love the Eastland years and the Edna's Edibles seasons were good too, but that's just my opinion.

I'm going to have to agree with you and say 2-5 were my favorites as well. I liked watching them grow during their highschool years and Jo and Blair start college, etc...

I like the later seasons better, except Rick. Is it just me, or do I voice anti-Rick comments in every post?

Seasons 1-6 had the most flavor.

i actually thought the show started getting worse after jo and blair graduated. i don't mean to offend anyone either, but it was like they were running out of plot ideas or something after they started going to college. u know?

My problem with the show after Blair and Jo graduated was the loss of reality. When they were all in high school, they acted like high school kids and dealt with issues that high school kids deal with. There was very little in Blair and Jo's storylines at Langly that is representitive of most girls college years. The show was still enjoyable, but it seemed to become a little bit more "juvenile" in later seasons, if that makes any sense.

Well they couldn't keep them in high school forever!! Blair was supposed to graduate at the end of the 3rd season... and they kept her there an extra year... cuz see... in the facts of love episode in the first season blair said she had 2 more years at eastland and then in the pretty babies ep in the 2nd season nat said blair was a junior so... they already kept her an extra year... and everyone knew that they were seniors so they HAD to graduate in a sense

My fav seasons are def. 2-5, but mostly 3!

Mr. Bradley: .....and that girls is the thrill of victory!

Tootie: Or the agony of DA FEET!

(Tootie starts rambling)

Natalie (thinking): I am going to nail her mouth to the floor. I can picture it now there'd be a spike through her tongue, but the lips would still be moving. She'd just keep whining on and on about how she'd never do that to me because she's my best friend. And if it made me feel guilty about nailing her mouth to the floor than she's glad I did it and......
(stops and realizes everyone's looking at her)
