3:00am Episode #198-Fights and Stuff
In the Season finale, it’s "The Program" for Dan - diet and exercise! Roseanne helps by throwing out all the food that’s not good for them - which is practically everything in the refrigerator! And her plan of cooking light and encouraging Dan to go on long walks seems to be working, until she discovers a candy wrapper in his pocket. But confronting Dan with the truth only turns into a shouting match, ending with Roseanne leaving for Jackie’s house.
3:30am #199-Call Waiting
Despite Dan's pleas, Roseanne is not yet prepared to forgive him and end their separation.
4:00am #200-Millions From Heaven
Jackie rushes over to the Conners’ to let them know that they’ve just won the lottery prize of $108 million. Everyone is stunned, but they soon begin fantasizing about how they’ll spend the money. When they arrive at the lottery office with the ticket, their win is confirmed, but they learn that they’ll have to wait several weeks to receive the first check. The Conners are interviewed by Kathleen Sullivan and are besieged by the press. Friends call with crackpot business schemes and others contact them claiming to be long lost relatives. But Dan tells Roseanne that no matter what, they’ll still be the same two people they always were.
4:30am #205-Satan, Darling
In this Halloween episode directed by Roseanne, Jackie and Roseanne attend a glittering New York party, where they mingle with Manhattan's upper crust as well as two flashy British women (Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley of "Absolutely Fabulous"). As the evening progresses, however, Roseanne finds herself drawn into a creepy 90's version of "Rosemary's Baby."
5:00a & 5:30a #221/ #222- Into That Good Night, Parts 1 and 2
Roseanne and Dan are delighted that Darlene, David and their new daughter, Harris Conner Healy, will be staying with them. D.J. has grudgingly given up his room for them and is moving to the basement. He says he’ll have more room to work on his film projects, but reminds Roseanne he was supposed to get her writing room. The family talks about their life after winning the lottery, glad that part of their lives is over. They order out for pizza and Roseanne suggests saying grace to thank God that Harris beat the odds and that they’re all together. Everyone comes by to welcome Harris home: Bev, Leon, Scott and Nancy. They’re all pleased when Leon and Scott announce that they’ve adopted a three-year-old Romanian girl, and it’s revealed that Becky has just learned she’s pregnant but has yet to tell the family. And as the extended family gathers around the kitchen table for take-out food, Roseanne looks at each one of them and reflects.

My thoughts:

~ Go figure "The Cosby Show" still gets 2 hours of programming even with the new shows

~ "Cheers" and "Cosby Show" should switch at 12AM & 1AM

~ Interesting to see "Perfect Strangers" and not "Head of the Class". I wonder if that'll stay or if "Kids Say..." will replace "Perfect Strangers" at 5AM after "Full House" arrives

~ A week of "Roseanne" = *barf*

I know I should be thankful that they're showing Wings at all, but this 3:30 AM timeslot stinks. They hardly gave the show a chance at all. I say, retire The Cosby Show for awhile and give other shows a chance.

As for Roseanne and Full House...

As of now, October is the same as the Sept. 26 schedule but 9-10pm Sun-Thurs. is Full House.

Snoopy, Wings DID get a shot at 11 and 11:30 p.m. when it first came. But if you remember, it did TERRIBLE in that slot and was replaced immediatley. I think within a week even. I really think Nick@Nite should move Wings to Comedy Central or something, since Comedy Central is now part of Viacom.

Thanks, Pav.

- I'm surprised that Perfect Strangers will be staying, but no Head of the Class.
- It's sad to see that Three's Company will go from having 2 hours of programming to just 30 minutes per night, hopefully this means that it will go to TV Land soon.
- I wonder why Nick at Nite put Kids Say The Dardest Things in the 9:00PM/9:30PM time-slot, when they knew the ratings were poor last time, atleast it's only a until Full House comes.

I Think that and All In The Family probably will end up on TV Land sometime in the next year

Roseanne is going to do GREAT in the ratings. You wanna know why ... Because I hate that show. Whenever there's a show I hate, it does wonderful in the ratings. And the shows I love, do terrible in the ratings. I think All in the Family and Three's Company SHOULD leave N@N. They're good shows, but they're not what I consider "MODERN TV Classics." They're simply classics. Just because not enough people watch and appreciate "Wings" means that I and the rest of the Wings fans have to suffer.

Someone once said that N@N is moving into the modern classics because they're trying to get the young adults to watch the shows on N@N that they grew up watching. Well, I grew up watching N@N. So all those shows are gone. Plus, I watched Wings, Perfect Strangers and Head of the Class. And those shows are treated like crap on N@N. It ticks me off that N@N is doing so well in the ratings.

Ha, I just KNEW that N@N couldn't give up the midnights airings of Cosby. They could never part with it. But anyway, September looks horrid. Three hours of Bill Cosby a night. I rather be drowned in an acidic pool of water full of angry piranhas.

Well, no more Archie or 3's Company for me, unless I'm up really late that day. Guess I can watch Roseanne every once and awhile. I don't want to spoil myself. If I watch it everyday and as many times as they air it, I might get sick of it.

I guess that gives "Roseanne" the distinction of being Nick At Nite's first TV-14 show.

Brooklynguy86, that picture looks like something out of "The Exorcist".

This schedule stinks. All of the good shows are on after 1 a.m.. My favorite show on N@N is "Wings". I don't think N@N gave it a chance to gain an audience in an earlier time-slot. Another channel might have given the show longer than week to do that. But N@N has to have instant gratification or a show gets dumped into overnight.

I think that's a little harsh for the photo displayed above.

Maybe I was not watching the same green, scar faced, pea soup spitting Exorcist that you were.
