Default I just realized something, Why would Allen Payne comment on why Cockroach was

no longer on the show on the True Hollywood Story and he didn't apear on the cosby show until 1990? Cockroach left in 1987

Note: Allen Pyne is he guy who played Charmaine's Boyfriend LANCE.

well, i guess people talk and i'm sure Bill Cosby had a talk with him about some of his expectations for adding him, Charmaine and others to the cast.

He quit. Why? Beacause Bill Cosby wanted him to cut his hair for the show after a while because he wanted the actors that played his kids(and friends) to have a healthy, well put-together look, I would guess. Although he does resurface in Season 7 in the episode "Clair's Liberation" when Theo, Vanessa and Pam trade off wacky menopause stories. The same thing happened to Kara, Vanessa's fast-talking friend. She was in lots of season 5-6 epsiodes but disappears. But, she too later resurfaces in a Season 8 episode, but I forget the title. Vanessa says that she is going to the mall with Kara she isn't shown.

He's probably talking about a story with his name in it. Not the actual actor.

I just found out that episode comes on N@N tomorrow so i will make sure I watch it. I didn't see the point of writing Cockroach name into the script when he had been gone 3 years.
