Is Cheers an unknown show?

I mean seriously, like it's the type of thing where you mention it and people "Oh yea greatest show" or the go "what?".......

I think we deserved at least ONE spot on the 200 greatest icons......lol Oprah got #1 for God sake....

Like........what makes a Cheers fan...?

The 200 greatest pop icons thing was a farce. I mean come on, the cast of Friends was ahead of the Beatles. VH1 doesn't have a clue about music or pop icons.

i agree, i think the friends cast shouldve not even been on the list and the cheers cast shouldve replaced them

Believe me guys, I'm a big Cheers fan, but even I have to admit that Friends should be on that list even if Cheers isn't. Friends spawned several knockoff shows on rival networks, it started a fashion trend with a haircut that was called the Rachel and even that stupid theme song became a hit on the radio.

Believe me, I'm not a fan of Friends. I just think it did have an impact on pop culture that I don't think Cheers did.

HEY GUYS!! I'm watching Conan O'brien and he was doing a skit making fun of Vh1s 200 greatest pop culture Icons, and they were putting in fake people and they put in at number 76 Cliff Clavin!! and the entire crowd went wild!! lol
