Talking "The Trip"

Friday
We left the house around 6 am. Traffic REALLY sucked getting there. Got into Boston around 5:30 pm. Checked into the hotel. No hesitation I was like lets go to Cheers. So me and my mom walked to the subway and took it from Andrew to Park Street, Cheers wasn't a far walk. When we got there I was like so stoked and was just taking it all in. We had Buffalo Wings and sandwhiches. I looked around for awhile and then we went back to the hotel.

Saturday
Left the hotel around 9 am and went to Faneuil Hall. Walked around there for a bit. Looked in Cheers. Took some pics(one of me in Norm's seat.) Got hungry so we went oer to Cheers again. This time we ate in the Oak room and just had wings again. After lunch I started to take pictures. Especially some of the Wendt cut out. Damn that thing wouldve looked good in my room. There were also cut outs of Rhea and Shelley too. Throughout the day we walked around the city. The skateshop I wanted to go to closed down so I went to this other one called Blades some locals told me about. On Boyleston street right next to that mall there are some real nice things to skate. But there were signs all around and I didn't feel like getting a ticket. So I left but not before putting a "skateboarding is not a crime" sticker on one of the signs. Whenwe were goin back to the hotel this crazy ass blind lady almost whacked me with her cane. It was so scary but hilarious at the same time. Later that night we went out to eat but my mom said that there were other restraunts besides cheers(amatuer). So we ate at TGI Fridays which I thought sucked. I connvinced her to go to Cheers for desert but by the time we got there it was 11 and i was too young to go in. The locals were tryin to get me in sayin "Man let the kid in, he has a Cheers shirt on and everything". I just said oh well and went back to the hotel.

Sunday
Checked out. But first we took one last voyage into the city. We had lunch at Cheers and I filmed my intro for our video of me skating by it.(Oh if you go to Cheers soon, look on the oposite side of the sign on the corner and you'll see a skateboarding is not a crime sticker, had to leave my temporary mark.) I actually tried to eat a Norm burger but that thing was way too big. I ate about 3/4 of it and could't take it anymore. I finished off my pictures and said farewell to Cheers and can't wait till I go again(which is in April

The list of Cheers stuff I got:
shirt
2 matchbooks
4 bumper stickers
the cheers book
a menu
a dimple mug
2 14 oz glasses
little cheers stickers
ass load of napkins
and a bunch of brouchers for cheers and the cheers trail

Fave part of the Trip:
Going to Chees duh!

Dumbest thing heard while in Boston:
(This is a group of people talking while I was eating)

Person 1: Wasn't Cheers a show or something?
Person 2: I dunno, I think so...........

The trip was sick and I cant wait till I go again in April. Boston is the best city on earth!

JERRY: Yes. Yes I am. Master of my domain. But I will tell you this: I am going over to (Gestures to the nudist) her apartment, and I'm tellin' her to put those shades down!
KRAMER: Woah, woah, woah. What-what did you just say?
JERRY: I can't take it anymore! She's driving me crazy! I can't sleep, I can't leave the house, and I' here, I'm climbin' the walls. Meanwhile, I'm dating a virgin, I'm in this contest - something's gotta give!

Sounds like fun. Just being in Cheers would be awesome. How much was the cut-out of the characters anyways?

Glad you had fun steve, I want to go to Boston someday. I heard that they may remake the Bull and Finch pub to look more like Cheers.

Oh yeah, STEVE DISCO IS NOT DEAD!

Yeah Grady says so
