I found an original ticket for FOL taping that was never used. I was surprised to see that you had to be over 14 to see the taping. I wonder if they were taping on of the "banned" ep. we deem now or if that was a general guideline. I think it's strange for that age limit to occur. What do you guys think? All shows taped in front of a live audience have age limits. It's not due to content, it's due to the fact that the audience really needs to be under control and they don't want any kids doing anything weird or smaller children to cry or anything (as they often do) Like talk shows usually don't let people under 18 in (same as SNL) and I think the youngest is The Rosie O'Donnell Show that lets kids 5 and up in.

I had a bad experience with this back in the 80's. My parents and I were in Hollywood and we waited for HOURS in a huge line to see a taping of "Three's Company". We got all the way up to the door and I think you had to be 16 to get in. I think I was about 14 and they said no. I wasn't the only one and there were a group of parents who protested. I kind of get their reasons and granted this was back in the 80s so maybe things are different now in 2019. From what I remember, the man who came out to talk to us explained that it wasn't necessarily the show itself but the stuff that goes on in between during the taping like swearing and so forth. Doesn't really make any sense, but I guess rules are rules. My thing is that I think we were able to just go to the box office and get the tickets for free. They should have enforced the age limit and not even given us any because honestly we wasted an entire day of our vacation. I did eventually get to see a taping of Match Game however.

Haha I almost wasn’t allowed to see Deal or No Deal. Not because I wasn’t old enough but because I didn’t LOOK old enough. They did let me in though luckily.
