It said she is only 29 years old. So does that mean she was only 16 or 17 when she was on HOTC? Or did she retire from show biz at 29 and is now 31, I wonder?

I really don't think she was 16-17 on the show. She looked much too old to be that age.

I didn't think she was that young, either but if she is only 29 now then that means she was about 17 or 18 on the show.
Maybe she retired from showbiz at 29 and is now 31.
