I seen this episode a couple of nights ago and I still can't believe that Beaver is really that gullible. He is an easy target with these so called friends of his. He should have known that those fathers would insist that their boys dress up for this event just like his parents did. I must say that there are times when the writers made Beaver a little too stupid...not to disrespect anyone it's just my observation. This is where Ward proves to be a hero to the know it all kid once again. I know I didn't dare talk back to my parents like that and what they said was law! I do think that what Ward did in the end was right but I was thinking through the whole thing, don't give in to the little creep. He even caused an arguement between his parents, I would have been in big trouble for that!!

I liked that episode. I know what you mean although I'm not in agreement with all of what you said. I do agree, though, that Beaver's gullibleness is stretched beyond the limit in some episodes.

...Not to mention the 'Girl's Sweater' episode.
