When did u hear this? I haven't heard anything about the Spurs being interested in him. He needs to leave the Knicks but then again, the Knicks are a center away from being a contender again cause they got a nice little squad. Allan Houston, Kurt Thomas, Howard Eisley, Clarence Weatherspoon, Othella Harrington, Charlie Ward are all decent players. Well Allan is the star of the team & Latrell's scoring dipped way down this past season. He's not really good at playing the small forward spot. He's better suited at shooting guard. The Knicks got Mike Sweetney in the draft this yr from Georgetown. He should be a big help for them. I would like to see Sprewell get a ring though & the Spurs would be a good team for him to get a ring. He could help out the Spurs a lot in scoring at the small forward spot cause Bruce Bowen isn't consistent enough. I think the Spurs should get rid of Danny Ferry, Steve Kerr, Kevin Willis now that they all got rings. This was Danny & Kevin's first ring. If they decide to keep Steve Smith, i would like to see him play a lot more behind Stephen Jackson. I heard the Spurs might do a sign & trade for Stephen Jackson which i think would be a bad move.
