Dear Heart,

Hi, it's me again. We've been through thick and thin, highs and lows...joy and woes, like nobody knows. I know you don't always understand my brain and why it sometimes makes choices that ultimately result in you breaking apart...especially with regard to Danny...remember him? Of course, you do. God, I thought we'd never bounce back from that one...but luckily, we did. I'll try to be more careful in the future but I can't make any promises. Love and friendship are two notions I can't seem to give up on and I know I always drag you along for the ride. I ask that you please bare with me, stay strong and know that I'm trying my best in this crazy world. Thanks for being brave enough to try and try and try again....and thanks for mending when I needed you to

Its me again, I'm sorry i keep falling in love with pathetic losers and i keep on breaking you..How many times is this now? I think its 5, lets see there was Mike,Mark,Tom,James and now someone else. I promise i'll never fall in love again, i would do that, just to keep you from getting broken again. Haha. Sorry I'm such a pathetic loser. I know my life isn't what you'd like it to be, but I try. I always look deep down and find the right decision within you. Sometimes I've gone astray of your choices, and realized later on, that I should have followed you. You know that there's a few people who will always be in my heart, and I'm thankful that you keep them there

May I ask a question and since you asked about posting to get the average higher, I'll ask it here. What's the point in having a higher number? It's just a number. Do we get 50 bucks when we reach a 1,000 posts? I know I sure as hell didn't. I doubt anybody did. Do we get a 1,000 bucks when we reach 10,000 posts? Well, can't say about that one, but I doubt we do. So what's the big contest with post #s? It doesn't matter.

Sorry you had to pay the postage, I got to the post office and they were out of stamps- and I didn't have money anyway. Hopefully you just paid the postage yourself- you're usually tight and miserable with your money.
Well, how are things- I got your email last week; look, I know I should keep cholesterol down, those first 4 heart attacks were enough warning from you- but could you stop doing that? Look- that Big Mac may have hurt you too- but I wasn't myself, I was a little depressed- and I know the arteries haven't been the cleanest in a while but the sanitation department said they'd take care of it.
Are you and your neighbour Mr.Packemaker getting along yet? I hope so cos I don't want to hear you two fighting again, it keeps me awake all night.

Don't worry about it. I know you're not really hurt. Just shocked that some idiot would pull this crap over you, but it's over and done with and the bruise isn't really even there. No need to bother with crying, no need to bother at all. You still have your love for Liz and thats all you'll ever need. No one could ever possibly take that away from you and I know I won't, but just to make sure in case I try to find someone. I'll run a background check first so we won't bother with this crap again. Dear Heart, I guess I’ve put you through a lot- and vice-versa- but thanks for getting me through everything. There were times I didn’t think we’d make it- without Grandad, Nana, Mom-mom, Pop-pop, Jeanie, Randy, and Ashly- but we’re still here and for the most part sane. Sometimes I really don’t understand you. Why does it seem like you’re always competing with my brain- and just when I think I have things right, you change your mind. Would it be too much to ask you not to change anymore? And what were you thinking last year, you didn’t let me listen to anyone when they warned me, and they were all right. Gene, Derek, Thom, Andrew, the list goes on…you’ve been broken and turned upside-down so many times that I doubt you’ve ever been broken at all- how can you be when I’ve never let anyone near enough to you to cause any real damage. Maybe that’s changing, surprisingly, finally, who knows…just bear with me like you’ve done before and I think we’ll be fine. Love, Caroline
