September/October schedule for N@N: Predictions - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I know me and a couple of other people did this when Wings arrived at N@N, so I thought it'd be fun to try and predict the new schedule when Full House (Oct.) and Roseanne (Sept.) arrive. Although I'm probably going to hate the new schedule...here are my predictions after Full House arrives (With the help from some information from Pav):

9:00PM - Full House
9:30PM - Full House
10:00PM - The Cosby Show
10:30PM - The Cosby Show
11:00PM - Roseanne
11:30PM - Roseanne
12:00AM - The Cosby Show
12:30AM - The Cosby Show
1:00AM - Cheers
1:30AM - Cheers
2:00AM - Roseanne
2:30AM - Roseanne
3:00AM - Three's Company
3:30AM - Three's Company
4:00AM - Wings
4:30AM - Coach
5:00AM - Family Ties
5:30AM - Kids Say...

Hopefully All in the Family will be gone from that dead-end slot on N@N and have a nice, comfortable slot on TVLand.

I think you're thinking of October schedule instead of the September schedule because Full House won't be airing until October.

According to the press release Full House will be airing at 9:00 and 9:30PM/Eastern and Roseanne will be airing at 11:00PM and 11:30PM/Eastern and 2:00 and 2:30AM/Eastern. The rest of the schedule for October I'm predicting.

9:00PM: "Full House"
9:30PM: "Full House"
10:00PM: "The Cosby Show"
10:30PM: "The Cosby Show"
11:00PM: "Roseanne"
11:30PM: "Roseanne"
12:00AM: "Cheers"

3:00AM Three's Company
4:00AM Wings
4:30AM Coach
5:00AM All in the Family
5:30AM Family Ties

I don't see Perfect Strangers and Head of the Class staying on until October, though I REALLY wish they would stay and air in a better slot. Hopefully the schedules for after the Roseanne marathon and Full House marathon will be in soon, but I would not be surprised if it looked like what I just predicted above. I hope it isn't, but most likely it will be something like that.

If PS and HOTC did so well that they decided to keep it on for a while longer, why didn't they buy the rights to all the episodes of those two shows instead of bringing on Full House, Roseanne, Fresh Prince and Who's the Boss?

Perfect Strangers and Head of the Class are part of a WB Libary deal. The deal started in April 2000 and features a ton of WB Distrbution shows and these two shows were used for specials only on Nick@Nite/TV Land until February when they actually joined the line-up for Nick@Nite. They do have every episode, but it takes time to convert the masters to the digital copies they use on air. Since these shows are not real acquistions, they do the copies last minute. I'm not even sure they even made new copies for anymore episodes, I hope they do though. So basically, they can go to Warner and borrow an episode from any Warner Bros. show, if it is not on any other cable network that is. TV Land also has a similar deal with Screen Gems/Sony.

Oops. Yes, I meant October. I don't know why I put September.

Anyway, I corrected my schedule for the 2 and 2:30 airings of Roseanne, and just moved the Wings/Coach hour to the PS/HOTC hour. At first, I thought N@N wouldn't have room for the two anymore, but since there was, I put them in anyway. Now that Roseanne is going to be during the 2AM hour, I'm almost sure they'll be gone. Here's the revised sked again:

9:00PM - Full House

10:00PM - The Cosby Show
10:30PM - The Cosby Show
11:00PM - Roseanne

When I was young I wanted to own my own channel. I planned all the shows I would show. But now I realize that it's not so easy to get the shows I want. I wish it weren't so complicated.
