Default Days: Victor out??? Tanya Boyd signs contract!

And the casting rumors continue
Now that JER is returning the boards are alive with set gossip and as usual so are the tabloids.
The rumor that Victor is being written out has been going around for a while but this week in some tabloids it was stated that Jennifer Aniston is either a) going to try to get his job back (one tabloid) or b) writing a new show for daddy(another tabloid). While the fact that Victor's out hasn't even been comfirmed yet people are speculating about Jennifer's involvment again, if you'll remember back in I think it was 97 when John Aniston was axed but Jennifer protested and got him back on recurring. So, the real question is, Is Victor leaving or NOT?

I personally wouldn't be surprised at ALL if he was leaving.

New Contract
The final nail in Abe's coffin perhaps is the fact that Tanya Boyd (Celeste) has just signed a contract, maybe she will be there to comfort a grieving daughter, Lexie? Hmmm, maybe that whole Celeste/Caprice thing will be resolved. But then again do we really CARE about the Celeste/Caprice thing?

Man, there's so many casting rumors going around it's hard to know what to believe. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what will be confirmed.

I really believe the one about Victor. Victor and Abe leaving so far (if that's true) wow, Reilly sure is shaking things up but that's what this show needs, now if he'll only ax a good portion of the teens, the show will be all set.

I agree completely. I'd rather him get rid of some of the teens (Cassie especially) and others (Nicole) than get rid of established characters (Abe/Victor).

Victor's exit does not surprise me in the least, considering JER wrote him off last time too. Abe's exit is still a big surprise to me, but obviously, he's being killed off, because why else would Celeste come back, and on contract too, no less. Sigh. I wish JER would bring back some other characters (Carrie, Vivian, Ivan especially). I'm really looking forward to seeing what JER will write.

I have a strange feeling he'll write Tony becoming obsessed with Sami, and make it sort of a revisited Stefano/Marlena thing. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised. I could so see him writing Lucas/Sami together, and Tony being the obstacle, considering how much JER loves triangles, and they all seem to have one bad guy in it.

I just want JER to write for John/Marlena and Jack/Jennifer. I pray that happens. I KNOW he will write for Jarlena, he LOVES them. Jack/Jen, I'm worried about.

I'm not surprised that Celeste is coming back at all. If you remember, Reilly loved using her to set the mood with her clairvoyant powers. I'm really glad she's coming back. Now hopefully other characters that Reilly loved to write for will come back as well, like:

Vivian Alamain
Kristin Blake
Peter Blake
Laura Horton

Exactly. Look at Charity on Passions. Reilly has to have his psychics. I can't see Kristen coming back, considering Eileen Davidson is very happy on Y&R, but they could always recast. I wouldn't mind seeing Vivian, Peter, Laura, Carrie and Mike back.
