Joan Davis Biography - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I had read a while back talk about a TV biography about Joan Davis. This funny lady's life was so tragic, both for herself and everyone around her. How she died in mid life, then the death's of her daughter, only in her 20's and Joan's Mom in a Palm Spring's house fire almost 40 years ago.

Anyone know about this future project. Ellen DeGeneres would make a great Joan Davis, looks and all.

There should definitely be a JD biography if there isnt one already, and her story is so dramatic, it should be a good read. As for Ellen playing Joan, uh, I dont know. What woman would they get to play her husband?? lol

There is a Joan Davis biography and I own it

A good friend of mine who loves Joan bought it for me.
