Default "WINGS" On Other Stations....Why NOT?

I almost NEVER watch TV during the day...too busy working....

However, last week I spent part of the afternoon sitting in the waiting room of an auto service center while my car was being worked on. There was a TV on in the waiting room and it was tuned to Superstation WTBS.
"Family Matters" was on at first (yes, I suffered through annoying Steve Urkel)....and after that, "The Cosby Show" came on!

Yes, the SAME "Cosby Show" that's run to DEATH on NICK!

NOW for my question....If "The Cosby Show" can be shown on stations other than "NICK" (which I THOUGHT had exclusive rights to run the series), then WHY can't OTHER stations show "WINGS"...even if it's still being shown on NICK?

In light of the recent SUPER-BAD news that NICK is banishing "WINGS" to the 2 AM slot (and STILL only one episode per night), then perhaps we should seriously look into finding out if OTHER stations could run "WINGS" at a more reasonable hour.

Does anyone have any info or input on this?

yeah. I was wondering the same thing, because there are a lot of TV shows that are in syndication on 3 or 4 different channels. Friends is another of those shows that I can think of besides the Cosby Show. Friends is on a million times a day. I think it's on UPN some time during the day, then the WB at night, and then i think it's on FOX too at some point in the evening... the same thing with Will and Grace reruns.

so yeah, if they can have those shows on more than one channel at once, then why can't they do that with Wings?
Well, personally, I hope that if they do that, I hope Wings won't be on at like, 11 AM or something like that either. that's a sucky time for me, since I'm never home then either. Plus, I don't think may other people will be home then either. most people work or are in school at that time. Wait... next semester, my earliest class is at 2 PM. haha! I almost forgot about that! so I will be home then. But see, I love watching TV late at night. It's my time to wind down from my day. In the summer, since I work early in the mornming, 1:30 AM is actually too late for me to stay up (but i was doing it anyway. haha). I think 12 AM would be a great time for Wings on any channel. well, 10 or 11 would be better for getting more people to watch, actually. But I'm not usually around a TV then....

I'll stop rambling now. All I'm saying is that Wings needs to be on a couple hours earlier than 2 AM! and why couldn't another channel do that?!

Really? I thought USA had exclusive rights to it and no one else could air it.

I like TBS, I wish they could air Wings, someone should contact someone at that station and ask them about that.

TBS shows two episodes of almost every show they air. Saved By the Bell is on four times a day. Two episodes of Dawson's creek and Lois and Clark a day, and a few other shows.

TBS treats their shows better than most networks do.
