Default Diane's Clothes

Hello everyone, (thought I'd start out with a Dianism)

As most of you know, Shelley Long was pregnant during the 3rd season of Cheers. As I'm watching the marathon, I am paying close attention to her clothes....If you look her clothes are bigger, and you can even see the belly in some shots. Most of the shots focused on her are from the chest up, so they try to kind of work around the pregnancy but you can still tell...

You can't tell in this picture from the episode that just aired about Sam going back to highschool, because she's sitting down but the shirt is a lot bigger...

JERRY: Yes. Yes I am. Master of my domain. But I will tell you this: I am going over to (Gestures to the nudist) her apartment, and I'm tellin' her to put those shades down!
KRAMER: Woah, woah, woah. What-what did you just say?
JERRY: I can't take it anymore! She's driving me crazy! I can't sleep, I can't leave the house, and I' here, I'm climbin' the walls. Meanwhile, I'm dating a virgin, I'm in this contest - something's gotta give!

It was covered very well!!

Especially better than Daphne on Frasier, those fat jokes, "fat camp", it was terrible, no one in there right mind could mistake her for not being pregnant, they should have written her out of the show for a while, like going back to Winchester or something.
And Frasier is suppossed to be so "smart" and the writing is so "smart", but god damn, what a bad cover.

Indeed they did, and it must have been hard, seeing as Shelley Long is such a svelte lady...but if you didn't know, you wouldn't have noticed

I agree I went through watching all of season three before I found out she was pregnant on the show. They really do a great job covering it up. Much better than when they tried to cover Daphne's pregnancy.

They did a great job concealing her pregnancy. The worse yet was Phylicia Rashad on the Cosby Show. That was ridiculous the way they hid and it was obvious by her face she was expecting. It seemed that she never got her petite figure back after her daughter was born. Shelley sure got her's back.
