I remember watching it on Nick Jr. when I was younger every now and again. I didn't like it much, though. I don't know WHY I watched it then, lol.

In the early 1960s, a cartoon starring voice great Paiul Frees (b.Chicago, Illinois, USA, June 27, 1920, d. November 1, 1986) of Ludwig Von Drake, Boris Badenov, etc (and Krazy Kat's Ignatz, Mr.Limpet's Crusty, Dick Tracy's Go Go Gomez, etc.) appeared of TINTIN, by Belvision, written by the great Charles Shows. Charles Shows, born in Texas in 1912, wrote many stuff, ersp.for Disney, Clampett, Warner and Hanna Barbera, in the latter case with wife Peggy Shows (they are credited, for one, for many mid-1960s HBR records Hanna-Barbera kiddie albums!).
These would appear on Hanna-Barbera's BANANA SPLITS 9designed by Sid and Marty Kroftt in 1968-1971) and it was odd to see this, but then in those days intermixing of cartoons from differtent studios for a show dedicated to an all new cartoon really wasn';t that far out..Jay Ward and Total TV shows (whcih ALSO shared the same animation subcontractor, Gamma!!) were intermxied--and they had OTHER shared organziations, too like advertising giant Dancer FItzgerlad & Sample! Haven't seen the Tintin series I cite that appeared in the 1960s to the early 70s in reruns. It was my first taste of the character..

I prefer the books...and i watched the animated version in French, the Eng version made too many cuts/changes; such as "replacing" the opium being smuggled in Haddock's ship with diamonds ( Haddock had no idea his crew was crooked )
