Default the worst season

does anyone else here think that the 7th season was the worst one? dixie carter just did not seem to fit in to a show like diffrent strokes. kimberly was gone, and you're lucky if you saw willis in three episodes in a row. the show was now more focused on just arnold and sam, and the stories were really getting dumb. the only really good episode in this season was when kimberly came home to visit. in the 8th season, i think that the show kind of went back to being good. mary ann mobley seemed like a better maggie, sam was a little less annoying, willis was seen a little more frequently, and it showed how arnold was starting to grow up more, and become a little more mature. the 8th season was'nt a lot better, but was an improvement on the previous one. what does anyone else think of the 7th season?

The final season was by far the worst in my opinion.

The last two were horrible. The show just wasn't any good without Dana. The only good episodes in those two seasons were the ones that featured Dana in them. She provided that extra spark that made the show a hit. Maggie and Sam have to be the most annoying characters ever to be added to a sitcom.

I think it was at its worst in season 6 when they had clearly run out of ideas and storylines just before Maggie and Sam.
Then the final season, which had some really bad episodes!

The 8th season. By that time even Willis wasn't in every episode.I didn't care for Dixie Carter as Maggie but Mary Ann Mobley was worse.. I think only Arnold, Mr. Drummond and Sam were in most of those episodes.

Both season 7 and 8 were pretty bad. They ran out of good material and started to stray away from the storyline.
